Tips and Hints
Well i'm making this post not only to inform about some broken features but to complain about lag.

I know that there is the golden 19.9 tps or something that the staff boasts about. However to be completely honest it's a lag shit storm some days. Not to put down staff because they do an amazing job moderating, coding, and paying attention to the community. It's just really annoying when i am in a match and the other person is just lagging constantly and I cant knock them back. So here my "shit list" as some people would call it.

1. Fix the very broken random knockback.
2. Try and fix the general lag, Ex: last time when factions map 1 came up the server became so laggy. I feared it would happen this time once more and it did. In fact its worse, and it's ruining badlion. The kit server is a lag fest and it's unbearable to play. Factions, there is no block lag which is good. However there is that horrid lag where you got to pvp and people just skip. No its not my connection…. I get 50ms on semi good days. Last night I got 30ms and it was lagging bad.
3. A tip to fix this: Try and maximize the server so it could actually fit 1k players online. We all know if badlion can't support 600+ without lag 1k players would be practically broken.
4. This post isn't to put down the staff it's to inform in a positive way what i feel is wrong.

We were not expecting this big of a explosion to be honest. The next few days will be rough as we optimize stuff, but everything will return to normal or we'll add more boxes until it is.

Let me kindly remind you of some things you are forgetting:

1. We had 120 players on the last faction map on launch, yesterday we had 300 people (completely maxed out) on initial launch.
2. There is a lot more code running now than there was on the last faction server.
3. There were a slew of bugs, and one of them is my custom anti-cheat. It's only possible to test with a few people so much. When 300 people are shoved on a server at once, its a lot easier to find problems. Since I have been too busy fixing the game breaking bugs in the past 33 hrs (6 sleeping, 27 coding) I have not had time to fix the anti-cheat to work properly. So we defaulted back to NCP temporarily until I can sit down and fix the problems with the anti-cheat.
4. TPS was awful yesterday. I am not going to lie. Once again, we have never run a server with 4000 entities loaded at once, and our kitpvp servers have specific optimizations applied to Spigot to help with that server. Now I was able to sit down today and spend 2 hours working on optimizing the code and the TPS went from 14 with ~200 players online to this:



Give it a bit more time and it will be 20.0 TPS with 200 players online and the anti-cheat will be fixed to make sure that this server runs smoothly and can continue to succeed. Until then I continue to ask people to please be patient while we clean things up. We also encourage to bring friends to come try it out and give feedback, we are always looking for ideas!

Thanks for the infomation almighty gberry! Heres some good tips elite_troll brought up. Exclude the drop balance tip tho its stupid.

Oh, that wasn't a tip, simply a suggestion. I want it so when you kill a guy he/she will drop their current balance. Easily avoidable, you can just deposit your balance into faction bank with /f money d (amount).
