I am just wondering if anyone knows how I can get Optifine 1.8 and UHC Essentials 1.8 to work together and how to install them both.

if you're using Magic Launcher set the environment to opftine 1.8 and add uhc essentials to the mods part.

You can't use Forge for it

Just use the Magic Launcher, it's that simple
