GameMode - Reward System
I know somebody has had this idea before, but its simply just making bows uncraftable, so people simply rely on mellee. It doesn't have to be a frequent gamemode that is hosted, but people always complain about "bow spammers", which I understand is the concept of UHC. I use the bow all the time, I never have a problem using the bow and I bow spam all the time, I just imagined it might be fun just to mellee and maybe increasing the damage that mellee does, like the GameMode "Mellee Fun" originally found on reddituhc's.

This could work for other things, link armour or certain swords aren't craftable and you have to kill to get them, maybe even you have to kill somebody to get a bow etc…. Or kill somebody for a diamond sword, or iron sword.

This could link to a Reward system, where you type a command where you choose your reward after getting a kill that you wanted to recieve, and after reaching acertain amount of kills in stages like 1 kill, then 5, then 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 etc. These could increase and vary, like getting a gapple, ghead, power 4 bow (or flame), diamond sword, or something else you get the concept of it.

This would probably have to exist in non-craftable of items like diamondless or goldless games, so you have a main reason to get more kills and achieve an award. Like 10 kills in a diamondless game could be an enchant table, or enchant bottles. Getting 15 kills - 20 kills could get you a strength pot, when they might even be turned off. This gives you a further and more achievable goal to reach.

The bow is a part of the game and UHC is well UHC there shouldn't be any rewards for killing somebody.
Next time if you have a suggestion that you think should be added make a thread about it here

if you kill a skeleton and it drops a bow what then?
