I dont understand why spoiling is illegal (now i havent been around for a long time so if something happend in the past i do not know about it) but it makes no sense if i get killed in a 315 man UHC and i say "daym that diamond sword does alot" i get ban for spoiling cause thats what ive seen happen to people! its not like its new that in 10 mins in a 315 man Hosted UHC 1/2 the server already has full diamond fully enchanted with prot 3?!?!?! so whats there to spoil? if someone spoils what someone has i dont really think its a suprise to anyone else that they have full diamond in 20 mins?I think it should be legal, cause i dont see anything wrong
Also wouldnt streaming be even more of an offense of spoiling if someone is watching Smqcked and he gets killed everyone sees what that person has there for smqcked is spoiling and should be ban .-.

This is in the wrong place as this is for ideas/suggestions not questions correct me if I'm wrong…Posted on 02 August 2015 - 08:32 PM
@ThatGingerKid no because its a suggestion that they should remove itPosted on 02 August 2015 - 08:37 PM
The reason spoiling when dead is not allowed is because when you die in a "hardcore" game, you are DEAD. Once you die you should have absolutely zero influence on the game period. We allow you to say gg/gf and say your goodbyes, but the second you die you are no longer part of the game. Saying what other people have/you had and other information influences the game, which you should not do since you are dead.Posted on 02 August 2015 - 08:56 PM
@Archybot but streaming would be spoiling? wouldnt it?Posted on 02 August 2015 - 09:05 PM
Streaming doesn't affect the game directly, and everyone in the game isn't in the stream. It's third partyPosted on 02 August 2015 - 09:16 PM
Streaming is optional for the people and they choose for people to see what they have.Am I right?? @Archybot

Well for one spoiling means you are saying gear, weaponry, pots or animals that the player has if you DIED to them. For example someone has strength pots, he doesn't want anyone knowing he has pots! So if he kills you and you say "omg strength pots are op" Players will automaticly assume he has pots! HE DOESNT WANT THAT! It's a simple rule that I agree with, if anything it should be even more enforced. Even a diamond sword is still considered spoiling. @ShaneskiiPosted on 03 August 2015 - 07:34 AM
@Archybot brings up a good point, something I want to add to that though, people target others with good gear. Most of the spoils that I saw were something like "full iron but fire aspect? #### off" *mute/ban*. You see that person who's full iron with fire aspect, you're diving for that fire aspect (or at least I would), or, if you know that someone has an extremely strong sword or bow, you might avoid combat with one of the two and they lose their advantage because a butthurt player spoiled after he/she died. To me, that's really unfair. Spoiling alive is just as bad too, I like that it's allowed because I have an evil side, but I don't like it because I still like fair play. Though I haven't played recently, I know that the both of these are still very important in the community.Posted on 03 August 2015 - 07:47 AM
@Cantstopcheating Small thing about what you said : Unless it's a diamondless game, about 30 minutes in, small things like diamond swords and enchants are basically fine with spoiling (pretty much as long as that player has a few kills). They let it slide, because you can assume that if someone has 5 kills or something 30 minutes in, they've got enchants or a diamond sword at the least. Just be careful.Posted on 03 August 2015 - 07:54 AM

@Verillium it doesn't matter, they could think he is thinking of saving up for enchants, it doesn't matter, the dead are DEAD not ALIVE they shouldn't interfere in the game AT ALL. It's unfair. The reason it's not allowed is because no one wants people to know what stuff he has, doesn't matter if people can assume.Posted on 04 August 2015 - 01:45 AM
@Cantstopcheating I really don't see it mattering. By your logic, you could be at 100 x 100 in a regular uhc (no scenarios) and say "he's enchanted" but be muted for spoiling. Small things don't really matter, or other things like common sense are applied to the punishment. You might think it's unfair, but I think small things like this are harmless.Posted on 04 August 2015 - 02:45 AM
@Verillium It doesn't matter, it's still spoiling! It's a damn rule, and it isn't getting removed.Posted on 04 August 2015 - 03:29 AM
Why don't we just allow people to call each other fags? Spoiling is one of the most non arguable rules Imo
