The donors get way to big of an advantage. There was a 500 slot to10 game and I wanted to play it, but even before it was open 450 slots were gone, and it filled right a 3:00. I could not have gotten in any way possible.These huge games NEVER happen, and to have it filled already 450 slots makes it impossible for someone like me, a non-donor, to get in.
Not to mention, some of us have better things to waste money on.

sorry to say but badlion needs funds, and it's safe to say at least half the donations come from UHCIt only costs 5 bucks for monthly donor like I can find that on the street

In UHC there's literally 0 things you can get that wouldn't make it pay to win. You get perks for donating which is the ONLY reason the server is still up, do you have any idea how much you have to pay for all of the server Badlion handles? 4 Arena PvP's with capacity of 750+, which is at least 15 GB, which is over $100 for each server. 10 UHC servers with 500 player capacity, another 1k+ dollars. About 50 SG's 24 players each, another 300 or so. Plus Octovon, another 50+ dollars. I'm probably way off on the price, way more. They need these funds and this is the best way to give back to the people who keep the server alive. Having pre-whitelist to UHC's was one of the main reasons I got donator. I think without the pre-whitelist there really wouldn't be much point donating unless you want to spectate (for UHC perks).Posted on 10 August 2015 - 12:53 AM

Badlion doesn't just run off of air, it costs lots of money to run, and Badlion depends on the donations to the server to stay alive. Nobody said that you had to spend money here. It's not an "advantage" because they get in before you. People buy donator because they want to help out the server and in doing so, we give them perks that are FAR FROM PAY TO WIN as a token of our gratitudePosted on 10 August 2015 - 04:44 AM

Donators do get an arguably huge advantage (although it's not a gameplay advantage), but it's not an unfair advantage. They pay to support the server and in return receive benefits for their generous contribution(s).

It's not really a "pay to win" server. Those perks are not actually as op as eximius, and hypixel which I have donated on and is pay to win. Badlion is one of the LEAST pay to win servers, and pay to play servers.Posted on 10 August 2015 - 03:41 PM
