Try border camping if you're not lucky with caves. And don't be afraid to run from people better stacked. You don't have to take every fight.

Also don't be afraid to fight someone more stacked then you. Sometimes, you have to take the chance to fight them if running won't get you anywhere. How do you expect to get stacked if you don't fight someone more stacked than you

Get your stone tools first, then get your reeds / leather / food / feathers. After that get as many apples as you can until the 10 min heal. Then look for a cave opening / staircase and explore a cave. Get enchanted and if your not so stacked go border camp if you are stacked then go 0,0 pick off the people who are weaker than you until you are geared enough to fight the stronger ones. Don't be afraid to fight people with fire swords. They could only have fire 1. fire 1s are ez to kill.

Step 2: Get a saddle and horse armour
Step 3: Find horses
Step 4: Tame horse
Step 5: Bow spam for dayz
