Like holy shit. It has never been this bad. People freeze in the middle of fights and I just got kicked for "Disconnected due to lag". Can't you guys just disable ranked or something? I randomly got on and joined Ranked and found it to be a freeze fest.Posted on 02 June 2014 - 08:18 PM

The community back then was small, and you most likely only believe to be awesome because of nostalgic memories

Some of this is true, but I can 100% assure you that it was much better back then. No MineZ players with their booters, no soup players spamming "eZ" in chat; none of that shit. I am not sure if you played on any HCF community servers back then, but compare some current videos to older ones.

One other thing I'd like to point out is that Badlion is a COMPETITIVE pvp server. Two main ideas in that sentence are competitive, and pvp. Competitive meaning players go against each other, and emotions tend to get involved in a win/loss, leading to bad decisions. Pvp meaning player against player, not work in harmony on a creative server building an amazing structure. If you play any sports, you should know that two opposing teams tend not to give flowers to each other. They bash each other, battle for the ball/puck/any other object the game is revolved around, and try to best the other. When you have two opposing sides in anything, things generally get hostile.
Anyways, just my opinion on this matter.

He has a point, strawhats and shadowpvp was fun. However how does that even relate to the topic of lag. In my opinion I don't really get lag.

It was definitely a much better community, not just nostalgia. The thing is, we sadly can't get a community like that anymore, because not everyone respects each other like they did to some degree back then. With a larger community like this, we just have to do our best to not feed the trolls, act how you want to see others acting, and being in general more respecting of others. Everyone, even staff, needs to work on the respect part. If the "bad" people in the community could be told one thing, I'd say, "just because you CAN be a sewer chewer, doesn't mean you SHOULD be a sewer chewer".

That error message means exactly what it says, you disconnected to your f***** internet being a piece of sh**. Go call up your ISP and yell at them. This has nothing to do with our server, it has to do with your internet dropping packets. If our system detects you are dropping too many packets it will remove you so that the anti-cheat doesn't fire off false messages/kicks/bans.
Please take some time to investigate the issue before coming on here to complain.

P.S. For those of you who want to pull the "omg the admin is rude" card. If I get constant rude remarks from someone, then I am entitled to send them straight back at the person (Debrief being one of the main complainers and negative members on our forum boards. Yet he complains about everyone else being awful [reminds me of League]).
