It is kinda unfair when you look at it.If you're high elo;
1 match lost - 30 elo gone
1 match won - 2-3 elo
It would take you between 6-12 matches to make up for what you lost from 1 fight

The elo system is fair, but when you meet hackers you would rly love your next match to give you all your elo back lol,coming from a high elo player like me,if you lose you simply got outplayed or the other person is better than you.Or you can always call hacks and get muted xD

The mentality is that your Elo at that level is supposed to match that skill level. if the Elo system was unfair, you'd eventually get a huge load of people stuck at a certain rating, and that's not the case.

But still, playing for 2-3 hours to reach 1900 and then lose a few matches in few minutes and you're back at 1600… Makes me want to stop playing, lol.

If you're a 1900s player, you should be able to maintain a 1900 rating. Otherwise, it's not your true rating.
