Lets talk about the definition of a "Pinger." In my opinion, there is no such thing as a pinger. When you fight someone, people will call you a pinger. You should not judge someone because you THINK they have better ping than you. Take Smqcked for example, ive called him many things before. I shouldnt have. I was being childish. I would like to apologize to Smqcked. Anyway, My ping to badlion ranges from 45-60. Now many of you will say I defend ping because I have good ping. No, I have 85 ping to the MCSG servers. I still defend ping. I would call myself a decent/good player, but not amazing. If you loose a match, it has nothing to do with your ping, but it has everything to do with you. If you don't like what pvp level your at, WORK HARDER. Rather than coming up with an excuse. My message to people with over 100 ping, dont call people pingers because they have better ping, rather work harder so you can beat them. My message to people with under 20 ping: Fuck all those people who call you a pinger, they wish they had your ping. Just fuck them, they're just jelous. Thats all. I disagree, as long as your ping isn't over 150 then ping doesn't affect your PvPing. If you're good enough then you will be a great PvPer with high ping. Everybody has to learn how to play at their ping. If I took 10 guys to a LAN and did a 5v5, they would almost all suck on their first fight since they'd either hit too early or too late because that's how they're used to playing.Posted on 15 August 2015 - 01:35 AM

PREACH IT BROTHER. PING SHOULD MATTER. I have gone on eu with 120ms ping and still got insane combos and won many sgs. So ping does not really matter. However, there are definitely moments where connection plays a part in the match. For example, people with better ping than you sometimes get a lot of double hits that can be annoying. Ping is not as big of an advantage as you think. Obviously someone with ping in the single digits is gonna get some hits you're not used to, because of how quickly they get knocked back - And someone with over 150 is gonna get some weird hits as well (with Badlion's kb how it is, having really high ping is actually kind of an advantage, because of how unpredictable you are when getting hit).
I have 30 ping to US, 110 to EU, and I can do just as well on each one. (I've played ranked on EU as well as NA)
Just stop complaining about people being pingers - you only think they have an unfair advantage because you're not used it.
