i have recently started playing osu, and i suck (i has mouse v.v) any tips? also im extremely new to the game and someone needs to explain what "skins" are.Posted on 06 June 2014 - 09:36 AM
·Dont use the mouse to click, use z and x.·Play songs at your skill level.
·Try to play on a high sensitivity.
·Turn the video off at the startof a video, It can often be a distraction.
Skins in osu are equivalent to resourcepacks in minecraft, they change how everything looks and sounds.

In addition:
-Get a tablet (playing on a mouse is limited)
-Play faster songs, (that way your eyes adjust easily to slower songs) then the songs you want to play
-No background noise. Distraction isn't good.

Mouse isn't necessarily bad. There are plenty of good mouse players. (cptnXn and PeaChick etc)

Gameplay with a mouse is still limited though

@cringiecake99% of the songs can be completed with a mouse, you probably just need practise.
