This idea is kind of based off an ultrahardcore voting system.Basically, for each config there will be a vote if it will be true or false. They go through all the config and some config like heal time is limited to 10 mins.
How it would work:
e.g. a host would put in, nether:
Players would put in T or F each resembling true or false. The words wont show up in global chat, you're vote will be taken though.
If it is number based like heal time you would choose 1 minute from 1-10 instead of T or F.
Maybe you could also vote for the scenarios of that match as well, CutClean T or F etc etc. Although if the host wants to fully rule out a scenario like CutClean that is possible.
Thoughts greatly appreciated.

Polls aren't used on UHC games anymore. They cause confusion and the results are the same every time.Posted on 01 September 2015 - 10:50 PM

If you can back this up with evidence, that'd be great.

I'm pretty sure that a seniorhost stared that.Posted on 02 September 2015 - 12:24 AM

@Hobskey, these aren't strawpolls. These are built in voting plug-ins, that's what my idea is.Posted on 02 September 2015 - 10:21 AM
The results will still be the same every timePosted on 02 September 2015 - 10:53 AM
Well, maybe not the same but they will be pretty similar every time lolPosted on 02 September 2015 - 11:19 AM
Good concept but realistically you are just gonna get a cutclean game with strength off every time.-1

Disagreed, if the host doesn't put Cutclean as a gamemode option, then it won't happen. There are plenty of other gamemodes they can choose, godless, diamondless etc. Strength will be off most likely, but 50% games don't have strength anyways.
However, as a host puts up 2-3 hours if their time

FFS, i hate typing on my phone.Anyways, as I was saying, if a host puts up 2-3 hours of their time to host a game then they should have 100% freedom of whether they want the community to decide or them.
Personally, I like this idea. It gets the community more involved etc. Imo

I agree, the results will be pretty much the same every time in terms of configuration. UHC hosts are hosting so many similar games that the community has become accustomed to things like no invisibility potions, no strength potions, golden heads stacking, etc. Hosting a game with different settings is asking for suicide.
