Hi, today I want to talk about the currency system upcoming to Badlion in the next major update.As of now we were informed this:
- Earn currency by playing on Badlion Network. ArenaPvP, SG, UHC, etc
- Buy cases in the hub lobby that give random perks/effects for various servers on the network
- Buy cases (more expensive) that are specifically aimed towards ArenaPvP, UHC, SG, etc
- Some perks include extra ranked matches, air drops in SG, picking a MiniUHC game mode, SkyWars Kits, etc
- Donator ranks will get increased currency multipliers (not yet 100% determined)
This seems like a good idea but it's mainly focused on CASES, wouldn't it be easier and more motivating for players to use the currency ITSELF to buy shit?
I think the system: "Getting Money-Buy Cases-Open Cases-Get random shiz" this isn't the best option.
Money SHOULD be able to buy cases but it should also be able to buy specific intems.
EX: I can either get this OP kit I always wanted for 100k with the Money itself or I can buy a case for 5k and hope I get it tho it's only a X% chanse.
Also, is there any name for the currency yet? It would be pretty cool if it was something related to the Badlion memes like " 1k chugs" or actually funny puns instead of "1k lions"…
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully this might have helped deciding what to do about this feature.

badlion should have a CSGO type system, you get Badlion Moneyz, buy cases. get cool shit that doesnt make a difference in pvp.i really dont know what you could get in minecraft that doesnt affect pvp but is nice to have. it would be cool to get a different type of rare sword like a SMITE IV diamond sword in build uhc. doesnt make a difference, but is nice bragging rights.
even though i do see badlion slowly becoming a minigame server and this idea just kinda adds on to it, it all started with the animals in the hub…

What I'm saying is that there SHOULD be set prizes to buy anything with the currency but if you want to buy a case then there's an X% chance to get each intem you could get buy the set prize.Posted on 15 September 2015 - 12:31 PM
@sluttycow, will you make an update on the current things already developed for next season please? :DIf not could you give us your opinion about this or some info on what's already been developed on your side relating to the currency?
