Hello, I have had a hard time hotkeying, i don't know where to put my fingers. Every time i try to use my fishing rod i cant strafe. So im just asking for help on where i put my fingers. Index finger on W? what? i know im not good but i want to get better.Please help.

Whatever feels comfortable to you, stick with it. Usually, the most common placement of fingers is middle on W, index on D, Ring on a and the middle finger is used to press S.It takes about 3 weeks to build a habit, so find something comfortable and stick with it.

Well really it's up to the player! Personally i go with W,A,S,D for moving. C is my sprint key and spacebar is my jump! It feels really natural for me but again it is all up to you i put my fishing rod in the second slot always because it makes for easy sword fishing rod combos.Happy to help out!

a- ring
caps, shift, ctrl- pinky
spacebar- thumb
shift for sprint

For me personally using a sprint hotkey helps a lot because you don't have to worry about only tapping "w" once. I recommend using "r" because it is pretty close to all of the other keys. But really just do what ever is comfortable.Posted on 15 September 2015 - 03:53 AM
