i've posted this before but it's honestly so dumbshrinks beyond 100x100 DO NOT encourage fighting! they completely disincentivise fighting as the arena becomes so small that any fight you engage in results in you being IMMEDIATELY cleaned up.. in general shrinks beyond 100x100 just cause the team that camp or don't get rushed to win guaranteed, so it's basically just a lucky dip for who wins once it shrinks to 25x25

I disagree with this because we need to encourage fighting. It's annoying when it's 2 and a half hours into the game and they still haven't gotten killed (it's happened to one of the games I've hosted). I'm so glad they introduced the shrinking inside 100x100.Posted on 17 September 2015 - 09:12 AM
but it doesn't encourage fightingdid you read what i wrote??

It is kinda dumb, I got to a 10x10 in a to3 and everyone still camped in a corner because they knew someone would cleanup.Eventually the host tped people out and it was just a really lame ending.
+1 but it won't be changed back lol.

It does encourage fighting. Games used to always last two hours/ two hours 10 minutes and now they range from 1:40 to 1:50Posted on 17 September 2015 - 09:04 PM
what about instead of shrinking after a certain amount of time, if the game goes on for a while with no fighting the host has the option to shrink it more after 100x100?Posted on 17 September 2015 - 09:06 PM
I think that 50x50 and 25x25 are fine, but there shouldn't be a 10x10 shrink tbh.
