Ok so Im gonna talk about the eu UHC hosted at 7:30 and tell you why that's a horrible time to host!!!!- Alot of people ( and me ) eat dinner at 7 : 00 - 8: 00 and to be honest 7:30 is literally the worst time it can possibly be hosted.
- It causes problems and alot of times i have to eat dinner instead of playing the game which i obviusly want to because thats the only game i can play in week days.
- It can easily be solved by just moving it 30 minutes till 8 : 00 where it would fit alot better for so many people.
- i don't see any negatives by moving it to 8 : 00.
Just say if there are any negatives , but pls do this since My parents get really mad when i want to play this game instead of dinner so just move it pls

If you can't play the game at 7:30 just wait for the game at 9:30 (I think) and if you can't play that one either, just play the one at 4:30.And a lot of other people can't play on weekdays too (like me). Just play it on the weekends if you have to. Also, you have to think of the hosts too, it will screw up their schedules.

K, so basically move the 6:30pm game to 7pm BST or whatever timezone you are :P. Definitely a lot more convenient for everyone+1

@LENAvision <– responsible for most of our scheduling with UHCPosted on 28 September 2015 - 02:15 AM
I had an answer up and ready to go yesterday, but with the datacenter down and me going to bed, I lost it.So, I've talked to some people from Europe and there are those who think the game should be moved 30 min earlier, some like you who think it should be moved 30 min later and some are happy with the current time. The concerns I have when it comes to moving it later is that it will make the last game start at 9:30pm UK and 10:30pm Central Europe and that will make it too late for many. It would also mean that the first game would be 4:30pm UK and 5:30pm Central Europe (and 6:30 in Eastern). The's also a bit of a wait for those who get home from school much sooner.
We know we can't make everyone happy with the schedule, but our goal is always to have a schedule that works the best for players and hosts alike. For now, it will remain the same but I will continue to ask around and see what others say about those EU games times.

Disagreed. Does it really matter if there's not a consistent gap between games? Are 2 hour gaps too small now? I remember we had an EU schedule that was like this:1pm UK
3pm UK
5pm UK
7pm UK
9pm UK
11pm UK
Notice the 2 hour gaps. Now we have 2.5 hour gaps. Fair enough to give games more time to go on. However, the 2 hour gap was perfectly fine before, so why change? This IMO should be the new schedule.
1:30pm UK
4pm UK
7pm UK
9pm UK (It could even be 9:15pm for it to start just to be safe)
11:30pm UK
The only thing that has changed is the 6:30pm game which has been switched to 7:00pm. Possibly, the 9pm game, but that's rly it.
I would like to know why we need to have consistent gap between games and why 2 hour gaps are too small now…

@LENAvision listen to that guy ^^ also 2 and 2 hours gap is perfect, The one who wins can still make, and the ones who die early dont have to wait so longPosted on 28 September 2015 - 04:12 PM
In a perfect world, if every single game was claimed by hosts, and we had enough hosts to cover more games per day, we could move it back to the 2 hour gap at some point. Right now we don't. Hosts have gone back to school and have other activities and are unable to host as much as they did in the summer. There was a good reason as to why we made the switch from the 2 hour to the 2.5 hour gap in the first place. Hosts who also wanted to play games were reluctant to sign up because if they made it to the final shrink, they would not have enough time to set up the next game in time. You have no idea how stressful it was to try to find hosts and then seeing the same people claim the games over and over so that you guys would have games to play. These hosts would then get burnt out and we're back to square one.
I would love to have a Badlion game every 2 hours, but that would be too many games in relation to how many hosts actually sign up for games. We're constantly hiring new hosts, but a lot of them leave as well. It's not as easy as adding as many games as possible, we want to consistently have hosts for the games that are in the schedule. Again, schedule will be looked at again as player base grows and also we get more hosts.

Thank you for explanation Lena. I see where you're coming from. I hope to see a change within the next few months, once more hosts have been hired etc.Anyone got a counter argument, cos I don't really?
