Title says it all. They piss me off so much, start spam waves and are generally a pain in the arse. Be origninalPosted on 27 September 2015 - 08:53 AM
Ik the current rule of impersonation is if they do actions to say they're them then they get banned, but srsly anybody with a similar name should be banned, as there are spam waves, and other crap that pisses people off, including myself that just makes it so gm is enabled and ruins the fun for everyonePosted on 27 September 2015 - 10:23 AM
I believe the rule is unless they are actually claiming to be him, they are breaking no rulesPosted on 27 September 2015 - 01:56 PM
Yeah I want the rule to be changed about impersonating :P @AymbautPosted on 27 September 2015 - 01:59 PM
unless they're actually causing spam waves (cough cough grapeaplesauce, ibeatsurscore) then I don't think we should fault themPosted on 27 September 2015 - 02:48 PM
Well, there have been plenty of Huahwi spam waves when an impersonater is online so yeah…Posted on 27 September 2015 - 02:52 PM
So because people can't control themselves from spamming in chat at a fake account, the fake account should be banned? That makes 0 sense.

Well there was someone named "Huahwi_" I said "Huahwi_ you tricked me for a secong" and got muted. I think its unfair because I did nothing wrong ;-;Posted on 27 September 2015 - 03:51 PM
Yeah innocent people get muted, when they're trying to get the attention of the impersonater for constructive reasons and innocent people get muted. It's a bit unfair and ruins the fun for everyonePosted on 27 September 2015 - 05:55 PM
The automutes won't go on your permanent record, so yea….Posted on 28 September 2015 - 06:25 PM
You're still muted for 15m though…Posted on 28 September 2015 - 06:26 PM
This thread's going nowhere *sigh*Posted on 29 September 2015 - 03:15 AM
If automute is on and you say one of the words that are on the list, you get muted for 15 minutes. That mute doesn't go on your record. Also, if you already tabbed Huahwi_ , you could see it's not the real one.Posted on 29 September 2015 - 10:52 AM
The point is that there have been many cases where there have been spam waves before automute has been put in place. Then, global mute goes on for 5-10 mins, ruining the fun for everyone because they are unable to interact. Also, when there's an impersonator online, people like to troll so just start these spam waves that are really annoying. Then, when people log on and try and contact the Huahwi impersonator or could even be another impersonator such as a Grapeapplesauce or even xNestorio, they'll get automuted and will be unaware of it because they would've been offline when the spam happened (if you know what I mean). It may not show on the punishments, but it still disallows the ability to talk in game, which innocent people will more care about than their punishment record IMO.
