Hey everyone, Cameralagg here. Some of you might know me as staff on Badlion. I'm an Arena mod, UHC Host, SG Mod and Tournament Advisor.As you might know, saturday is judgement day, and today is story time. On Saturday I am going to get banned for autoclicker.
"WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU BE SO STUPID TO AUTOCLICK AS STAFF ON THE SERVER, YOU'RE A FUCKING DISAPPOINTMENT!" you might say. Yes, I agree with you but please actually read what I have to say.

Most days, this does not change how I play minecraft or function at all. It's perfectly normal and in fact I can jitterclick. Some days however my hand burns in pain, these last few years it's gotten much worse. Some days I can barely move it and the pain is quite terrible actually. For those days, I was embaressed to give a reason I couldn't play. I know it's stupid, but I made a custom macro (autoclicker) that would emulate how I'd click on a good day and I'd use it on those days, nothing more. I did not intend to get ANY unfair advantage whatsoever and the only thing it would let me do was play like usual. The "unfair" advantage it gave me was allowing me to click with a third party device and not with my hand. I understand how this can seem wrong and how it's ban worthy, but I did not use it to "grind more ELO" or "be better at PvP" or "because everyone hacks and it's fun" or whatever the normal excuses are. If you want to ban me go ahead, but I refuse to be put out as a cheater and a disappointment as that's not what happened. I've put countless hours into Badlion for 8 months. Badlion was my life. The past 8 months I've spent every day on the forums, banned countless hackers, hosted countless UHCs and done pages and pages of appeals. 5200 posts must mean something. I'm not ready for all of that to simply go away, I worked so hard on this project that is Badlion. I understand all third party devices are not allowed and medical cases make no exception, but I want my story out.
As said, the autoclicker was made to emulate my clicking on normal days, it was not supposed to give me any advantage over any other player more than I would have had on a good day.
This position was my life and it's being jeopardized by my embarrassment because of my hand and my incapability of explaining it, I realise what I did is wrong but I wanted to get this out before I get banned along with everybody else on Saturday and considered a disappointment and a hypocrite.

I always tried to do the best I could as a mod, and I think I did quite well with more bans and activity then most. Badlion was my life for a very long period of time.

manly that you come out and say the truth especially as a staff member. I can assure you will get hate for this, but not from me. You having your condition is somewhat a valid excuse, but you autoclicked to be normal and if you didn't pvp you would be embarassed when it reality this is your most embarassing moment. I can't say you did the right thing because you didn't, but if I were you I would have given up pvp for a few days if it meant I wouldn't have to cheat on what I consider my favourite server, and I'm sure you did tooPosted on 07 October 2015 - 04:23 PM

I am literally crying. We love you Camera <3Idk if I should feel sorry for you. My heart feels sorry for you, but my brain doesn't. I see why you did it, I have personally never 1v1ed you so I don't know how effective it is, but if it is basically equal to someone with normally clicking speed then it can't gain too much of an advantage, but at the same time you still used a 3rd party device.
Whatever happens on Saturday, if you get banned, appeal, don't get banned, get let off I have always considered you an amazing mod and if you never come back best of luck in the future. You seem like an awesome guy <3 You deserve a lot of respect for saying this

I have so much respect for all the time and effort you've put into badlion, and if it was my decision, I wouldn't say that you deserve the ban. You don't play competitively, and you have your medical condition, if you do end up being banned, I just want to wish you the best of luck for the foreseeable future.
