Soup PvP Ideas.
This relates to the FFA on the soup server. On the soup server the soup refill signs are a bit op. But there should be some things that could counter the op-ness(lol) of the signs. You should be able to buy some potions with the tokens you earn in game. Since the only thing you can buy with them right now is more kits. Some kits are a bit op as well and I think that some potions could help make those op kits more equalized. I'm not saying all potions should be buy-able (strength, speed). Potions like poison, weakness or other potions like that should be able to be bought. Maybe add some potions when you reach a certain kill streak? Like a potion of regen 2 when you get a 25 ks. I haven't completely thought through these ideas but I think the use of potions could be quite beneficial. NO INVIS PLS.

Soup LMS or War? I really enjoy going on the potion server to fight in the War matches but I don't particularly care for potion pvp. Maybe tweaking the needed player amount for a war match to start since soup pvp doesn't get as many players. Think of it as a mini version of the war that they have on the potion server except it is for soups.

This suggestion is for mods. Auto-soup is a pain in the ass to deal with. I think giving moderators access to /invsee could help with auto-soupers. Make it to where mods can't mess with the players inventory whilst they have it open but they can watch it to see if they do in fact auto-soup.

Make it to where when you /spawn you do not lose your kill streak (and also /spectate) When I am in the FFA I sometimes get over a 30 kill streak and then a hacker comes along and I think being able to /spawn and keep your kill streak would be a life saver. I also like to change the resource pack I am using quite a bit and I don't want to have to reset my kill streak just to change a pack.

Have players be able to see each others' FFA stats. I think this could be a nice little feature being able to see some players' stats.

I have also noticed that when someone sends a duel request and you are about to jump out into FFA that it disables you from being able to enter the FFA area. I know that you can just do / deny but that becomes a pain in the ass at times and it could just be easier to be able to jump into the FFA area even when someone sends a request.

Also add how many tokens you have to the FFA scoreboard. People ask for them a lot and they never check tab. http://i.gyazo.com/a853833a4bb9968923d65d2d9f4f2750.png

Since people aren't too sure on potions or not. I think leveling out the kits a little more could help. Example: The gold kit is just insanely bad. You get a full set of gold armor and a gold sword and no enchants… against people with iron/diamond and OP kits. at least give the gold stuff unbreaking 3 and some sort of actual attack, even though it gives 2x the tokens.

Using tokens to buy pots (or their effects) is very mcpvp and skylandkits. Badlion soup server is unique because it isnt like every other soup server. I play more on soup than any other server, and i like it just the way it is. Just my opinion. Every other idea was good though! /invsee is a must have for soup moderators

Yeah but we still would need something to counter the ease of access to the refill signs/op kits. Any ideas? I managed to record part of a fight that lasted well over 15 minutes just because this kid kept going to the refill signs.

What if a cooldown could be added to the soup signs?

Or have it to where you can't access the sign until you are completely out of soups in your inventory? Because people just wait until they lose a hotbar then use the sign and go back to fighting.
