Feedback Thread: ArenaPvP
Hey guys. So this is going to be one of many threads you are going to see me post right now in the Announcement section. The objective is to try and gather as much feedback from the community on some of our current features and little things we can do to make them better and more enjoyable. We welcome all suggestions, but might strike some of them down saying they require way too much work for the effort. Hopefully most of them are small little quality of life things we can do to make the server easier to use or more fun.

In this thread I want to talk about the ArenaPvP servers and what we can do to make them better for season 11 (Planned for December 2015).

Bring back some old ladders for and put them in the unranked section for throwback.

I'd like it if I'd be able to break and place blocks in the default UHC ladder. So UHC basically becomes BuildUHC without the shitty lava/fishing rod (it's not shitty, I am just bad at it). We could rename BuildUHC to AdvancedUHC. At this moment UHC is too similar to IronPvP anyways

Ladders like soup or horse which are never played might be if you combine all the servers into one, instead of na 1, 2 and 3. However I do understand this may cause lag issues

You said that we would integrate soup tokens at some point. Has that happened yet? Soup died completely :( @labmity

We still have all the DB records, but I question how much the soup FFA world would be used. Not to mention it needs to be redone completely because the current one is bad compared to the last one we had

The earlier you would have done that, the better. ATM not sure if it's worth it. The soup community left Badlion.

Please try to bring back soup, I could play the old soup server for hours non stop and never get bored of it. It was all I did a few months ago. Some of the members I met back then were some of the best people I met in minecraft. Especially Chinatown <3.

Maybe copy what Kohi have done, many people complain about always coming up against opponents with either too high or too low elo. Doing something like this:

[1350-1450] ~~~ (Scans for opponents in that elo range)
[1250-1550] ~~~ (Scans for opponents in that elo range)
[1150-1650] ~~~ (Scans for opponents in that elo range)

and so on…

The dash represents your elo so in this case it would be 1400.

No, because it takes away from the most UHC-ladder-ish quality, that it's COMPELTELY reliant on dodging and bowing
