Ok so most people(or people you hear about) have YTs, twitches, $500 pcs, keyboards, and mice(exaggeration). They get 1000 fps, even while recording or streaming. Most have ts skype, and some sort of rank. Then there is me. I play on a macbook air(the smallest version as well, and it has only 5 gigabytes of space left), have a cheap $5 mouse, no rank(young and not allowed to spend $ on mc), no twitch or YT(as my computor doesn't have enough space), and no ts or skype(not allowed), and get an average of 40 fps. Sometimes it can be a little annoying, but I can still pvp. Last season I got to 1700 in build(then lost it the last day) and am now starting sg, and am doing quite well. I consider myself an ok pvper, and since non-donor I play mainly unranked. I win about 85% of my unranked sg, which I consider good. I do wish I could have the things others have. In my mind I think it about what it would be to have like one of those things(mainly a rank), and realize Despite lacking these things, I'm far luckier then most to even have a computor. if wnna get good fps heres wat to do , on maximized screen i get like 50 fps which i cant play on , so i half my screen to what its like when u open mc , and i get like 150 fps , if u think half screen is to small just strech the screen size and ur fps will stay the same unless u strech it to far , and wen u find the right screen size screenshot it and set it as ur background , so every time you go on minecraft , u strech ur screen size to ur background .Posted on 25 October 2015 - 09:32 AM

5$ mouse, I have no desk to play on, average 20 fps with a good texture pack and a 4$ mouse which grants me 4cps while pvpingI lie down on a bed and play for fun and people say I suck, so I know how it feels

I get easily 2000+ fps.I spent 1050€ on my computer, and my keyboard is some old one which I got for free. A proper gaming mouse, of course. And bad internet sometimes.
All you need is 120 fps, but the more, the better.

Doe gets 30-40 fps on 2 chunks in 1.8, still the best archer around, and pretty damn good at everything elseUntil a month or so ago I always played on a laptop of the same caliber, to the point where even particles made my game barely playable. I played on the laptop on my bed. It doesn't make much difference, imho; it might take a little more practice/dedication to be good on a shit computer, but in my eyes any good player will be good in virtually any situation/setup. It's a gratifying way to practice, too, and if you ever find yourself in a position to upgrade your setup, then you'll be far ahead of where you might be if you hadn't had the same kind of grueling training grounds.

I started with a MacBook laptop with a £10 Keyboard and mouse getting 20 frames and now have a £400 PC and £150 on periforls and don't feel much better (apart from obvious improvement over time).
