UHC 4.0 Patch Notes

Okay, we just had our first hosted UHC 4.0 Game…and I am so tired and out of it haha. Too much going on in my real life still at the moment while I am trying to push things out for Badlion. Hopefully it will calm down over the next week. Ok so what you have all been asking for, the patch notes for UHC 4.0. A lot of the stuff in 4.0 are internal clean ups for future plans for the plugin. So a lot of back-end things changed but not necessarily a huge amount of front end (I mean come on, the game mode can only get so complicated).One of the big changes for UHC 4.0 was creating 2 new plugins instead of adding them to current plugins. The Disguise feature was built into Survival Games. The Combat Tag was built into UHC. They have now been separated into their own plugins so that we can start adding Disguise and Combat Tag Functionality to any servers we need to in the future. So that was a bit of a back-end overhaul. Lot cleaner now though.
New Rules
- Spoiling (giving out coordinates) at any point in time during the game will result in a 3 day ban
- Excessive Stalking is NOT allowed. This includes not letting one mine/place blocks. Doing this will result in a 3 day ban
- Camping for more than 5 minutes anytime after the 100x100 shrink will result in a 7 day ban.
New Features
- Famous players can now use /d and /ud to disguise and undisguise themselves before a game starts. This does not affect stats, only in game information (We will have it setup network wide eventually and make it so that you don't have to do /d to each new server you join [save whether you have it on or off in the database]). At this time we do not know if or when we will make Disguise available to Donator ranks, or which ranks it will apply to. More info to come at a later date.
- Anti-Xray. Introduced less than a week ago we bumped up the Anti-Xray system to try and combat all of the people who are cheating. We have made some changes throughout the weak to reduce FPS client lag (mainly caused by redstone). We will continue to patch the system with new features and smarter systems to make it harder and harder to cheat on Badlion.
- /resetstats can now be purchased on the Buycraft store. You can use this command in game to reset your stats.
- Statless Scenario. Very simple as it sounds, this gives the hosts an easier and more concise way to show that stats are disabled for this game. This game mode is only usable by Senior Hosts at the moment as we would like to have them manage the Statless games.
- Time Bomb Scenario. Credit goes to Tman1829765 for creating the original game mode. When you die all of your items are put into a double chest. 30 seconds after you die the chest blows up and lightning is struck down at it's location.
- Barebones Scenario. Credit goes to Audicyy for creating the original game mode. Enchanting Tables and Anvils cannot be created or used. Golden Apples cannot be created either. The Nether is disabled. When a player dies they drop 1 diamond, 1 golden apple, 32 arrows, and 2 string. Lastly mining any ore besides Iron and coal will drop an Iron Ingot instead.
- Water World Scenario. Idea was originally created by @sluttycow (to my knowledge). The 100x100 final major shrink is all water from y = 1 all the way up to y = 63. Better bring a lot of boats as you fight to the death in a vast ocean.
- Vanilla+ Scenario. I can't seem to find who suggested this…but someone on our forums did I think. Apple and Flint rates are double of the regular Vanilla rate (aka 1% drop rate for apples and 20% drop rate for Flint)
- Soup Scenario. Idea has been thrown around so many times as a joke, I decided to actually make it. Mushroom Soup heals you for two hearts and you insta-drink it.
- Rodless Scenario. Fishing rods cannot be crafted or used (if found in the natural world). Dat Rod Spam 2 OP 4 Me Bro :'(
- Added a /rules command
- Hosts/mods are now able to talk in the spectator chat (yay)
- Shows the Heal Time and PvP Time Remaining in the top Dragon Bar
Tweaks
- New Welcome message including some helpful information to new players such as /config and /scenarios. Also you can now see what game modes are being hosted on the server when first joining.
- Borders are now 5 blocks high instead of 3.
- Items that are outside of the border on a death will be teleported back within the border now.
- Changed Data -> Stats in the /config menu (to clear up confusion)
- You can no longer hear foot steps in the UHC Lobby but your own (this went live a day or two ago). Same with the regular Hub Lobby, no more parades in the lobby.
- Increase the Nether size by 25 to try and eliminate portals being spawned outside of the border.
- Ender Dragon Rush Game Mode no longer tells players when a portal is lit.
- You can now say either "gg" or "gf" when dying to another player when you respawn. You have 30 seconds (unless you are a spectator) to say this and then you are silenced (like the dead should be).
- Cleaned up the scoreboard on the right side to be a bit nicer and show a little bit more information.
- Misc Internal clean ups of code
- /sc is an alias to /sendcoords now
- Famous players can no longer go under ground to view players
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the Border Shrink Messages to show now for all border shrinks.
- Fixed a bug with Ender Dragon Rush which would randomly teleport players in the air when entering The End.
- Fixed the /killtop scoreboard. Now also shows top 10 instead of top 3 kills
- Fixed a bug where players who would late join and then be modded could be assigned to a team or have teammates assigned to them.
- Fixed a bug where dead teammates (spectators) might get teleported on their alive teammates on border shrinks.
- Fixed the 0 durability bug with pickaxes and cutclean game mode
Dang. Every time I am about to type up one of these Release Patch Notes I feel like I did nothing. Then I sit down and write out all of the changes and then realize how much work I actually did lol.

will the disguise feature be available for Donators in the future?
