Oh i could definitely adapt to it if other people always had the same stuff as i did in uhc, but then again, people have healing and better armor. Without a rod, against a decent pvper, you are just going to trade hits and die against someone with better stuff. Bowing does not get the job done against someone with better stuff..
Not neccisarly, adapt to combos without rods

Meant to say game modes but it's basically the same thing
you're not going to win a 1v1 in the last two by bowing the whole time lol js, on a melee based network, like i said, why take out a key component of melee?

You cant get a combo on someone who is just as good as you without a rod, most of the time. if you do get lucky, they will just eat more regen. lol tracking is the only thing to determine fights and its not hard to do

You don't have to play it…It adds new strategy and will encourage bow more, which I think the community needs to improve on tbh :P

Doesn't matter if it encourages bowing people are still going to melee. xd

You can get a combo on someone without a rod. Ask any pot pvper ever.Posted on 01 November 2015 - 03:45 PM

Another one that cannot adapt
You're actually pretty stupid.
Just because you cannot rod you expect everyone to ditch them, how about you improve and maybe you should 'adapt'.

Who are you calling stupid? I'm assuming it's me and yes, I can rod. Stop making assumptions. Really don't get your point here

Coming from someone who isnt good at rod pvp. I find it a lot harder to straightline. Non Rod PvP requires on you literally circle strafing th fuck out of someone. Bow combos not necessarily, just whittle them down. I've only played 2 UHC's one I got backstabbed and the other I died when getting on my horse. So I dont really know but still.

I don't really care about the gamemode but when people say:'You don't have to play.'
OBVIOUSLY he wants to play (as he is making this post) but doesn't like the gamemode (which in my opinion is kind of stupid but that is irrelevant)
Get off your high horse and listen to the feedback.

Its difficult to listen to and respect feedback from players when they are phrasing their issues in argumentative and aggressive ways.By restricting a feature of gameplay there will clearly always be a section of the playerbase who is not happy about the change as it constitutes a majority of what they see as the gameplay experience. This does not mean that the gamemode will be removed, it just means that you have to either be willing to play the games or prepare to constantly complain on the forums about something that isn't going to change

If he wanted to play but doesn't like the game mode. Wouldn't that make him not want to play. There are like 10 other gamemodes he could play those instead of play one he doesn't like

I mean, it is their server and they decide what they want to do with it. You can't just demand them what you want them to not do or do with their game. If you don't like the Rodless gamemode, then just don't play it. It's as simple as that. Nobody is forcing you to play the gamemode.Posted on 04 November 2015 - 11:17 PM
