PotPvP and UHC/OCN/SG are different, and they take different types of skill. There are some similarities, such as hotkeys, when to go agressive/defensive, and strafes (pot to a greater extent w/ strafes). Pot takes greater aim, pot management, debuffs, pearls. UHC/OCN/SG doesn't take as good of aim, but also requires rod, fns/lava bucket, bow accuracy, and there are a greater variety of things to pay attention to. In my opinion, pot is simpler, therefore a greater skill gap between those who played longer/shorter, but also easier to learn (from my personal experience, pot took a shorter time to learn). In contrast, UHC/OCN/SG takes a little longer to learn, but a slightly smaller skill gap. Throughout this post, I have neglected to differentiate UHC OCN and SG. Solely bow fights are like pot in my opinion - simpler yet wider skill gap. SG takes more strategy and not as much skill, and OCN is kind of a mix. And build uhc is just a rly easy ladder in general lol, for pot or others. Although this thread is mainly turning into a couple of children trying to strut their stuff, talking big, showing their posterieure but nothing much has actually happened.I really hopes this inspires more clan vs clan stuff - Badlion is a competitive pvp network after all.

Anyway, with all the 'pot v UHC' argument, UHC is slowly going to die because of the extremely, extremely cheap tactics people use to win, including lava trapping, rodspamming, and the most fucking ANNOYING tactic out there is bowing back your opponent and not letting them melee you, so many pot players frown upon the bow.
Potion is going to grow because people cant play as cheap as they do in UHC, if a pot player tries to run, the opponent can just simply pearl to them and slowly drain their pots.
How about you do pot fights AND UHC fights…

Lol, 1.8 and 1.9 are ruining pot pvp. And uhc isnt being ruined at all.. UHC isnt just rod and lava. There are many great UHC servers like Cyburgh and a few others that are unfortunatly blacklisted. Most on 1.8+ Most of these servers on Reddit or Cyburgh and ect are very reliant on Bow pvp and not so much of an mcsg playstyle.
