Question
Uhm. Is it bannable to let other players play on your accaunt to get your elo up for global. Cause right now alot of players are doing this and its super unfair.

THIS NEEDS TO BE BANNABLE
Or Global needs to be removed

This is a legitimate concern for me as well. # what do the rules specifically say about this

Here are the rules.

Nowhere in there does it prohibit people from playing on other accounts to get higher ELO. As long as the person it's being shared with isn't IP ban evading, it's allowed.

;-; does anyone see a problem with that though? It's similar to elo boosting

True. I agree, it doesn't seem fair to other players

No, it's not against the rules.

ELO boosting is purposefully making your ELO higher using alts. This doesn't seem a lot like it to me.

It's "boosting" your elo via artificial means… How is this different

ELO boosting is getting ELO unfairly, so boosting yourself or another person. What they are talking about is completely fair, because you have chance of loss, meanwhile when you're elo boosting its guaranteed win

Is this what Elo has really come down to?

ELO is just a rating, if people want the ones high that they may not be good at then they should be allowed to.

Shouldn't be bannable unless ip banned players use the account to evade imo. Elo is a rep of skill, and regardless of what account you were on when you got it, you had to have had skill in order to get it.

omg im stupid… idk why but i imagined someone going to someones house just to get their elo up lol…

but still, they why would they randomly happen to check ur ip if they have nothing to be suspicious about? chances of actually getting caught would be extremely low imo

It should be tbh.
Its really unfair for the other players.
I mean if we would do this in oud clan
We could let Karl play Diamond, GAppel, Soup, Tank, Vannila. Thomas play Horse, BuildUHC, UHC. Hobo play Archer and Iron and browski kohi and nodebuff.

This would be extremely Unfair.
How is 1 Player gonna beat a whole clan. Smh

Sorry to bump this but I kinda wanted to respond.

It's not exactly unfair in my opinion. If you can't beat the person you're up against, you don't deserve to win. It really doesn't matter what their name is or their elo, but rather if they are skilled enough to beat whomever they are up against.

It just a type of greediness in my opinion. Unless it's just a new level of trying really hard to be #1
