I was thinking instead of lava buckets in BuildUHC ladder, you could edit your kit and replace them with an Flint and Steel. I know a ton of people who prefer using fns's instead of lava buckets in UHC, and complain about there only being lava in the buildUHC ladder, so why not implement this? You could either: a) straight up replace the lava for all users, b) add an option in kit creation to exchange the lava for a flint and steel. For people that say players could simply spam FnS's to annoy others or for easy wins - that's why you have 2 water buckets, plus they don't do nearly as much damage as lava, they're mainly used as distractions.Posted on 04 November 2015 - 02:27 PM
Full durability FNS, that would be fun!No, please no. This will make Build a nightmare to play. I don't know how much durability FnS has, but it will b more than you place your two lava buckets in one game. -1.

make it a half durability FnS, or 1/4? That would be 32 uses, or 16. Either way would be fine. And how would it be a nightmare? You get half Prot II armor, plus two water buckets, plus the water included on some arenas. With the armor you would be taking in like 1 heart max from fire, if you don't have water.

Flint And Steels are not used in UHC's a lot, so I don't think that's a good idea, I'm sorry.-1.

No. Just no. We already have that annoying item called 'Lava' in the kit.Posted on 05 November 2015 - 10:12 AM
You guys do realize that flint and steel does close to no damage right? If I get fns'ed on high health, I can literally keep moving forward and swinging because fns only does like half a heart when you have full diamond. Also, flint and steels would probably help the opposing player considering it does close to no damage AND it makes it so your knockback is decreased..Posted on 05 November 2015 - 10:52 AM

I perfectly agree with this. Flint and steel is a strategical weapon. It can be used for:
-Getting into a fight and getting a couple hits on the other player whilst he pulls his water bucket out.
-In the middle of one to recover the advantage by making the player pull out and maybe even losing their water bucket.
-Getting out of a fight by, again, making the player lose time placing the water bucket and giving you time to back off.
Yes. Lava DOES fulfill all of the above but as @NixGamez it has countless unsovable server or even conection based problems.
Yes, the fns can be spammed but if it only had 25 charges it wouldn't pay off and even if it had more the damage caused by it is minimal and someone desesperate enough to spam the fns should be at a low health and whilst they're spamming you could land a couple of shots and finish the damn fight.
Anyway, that's just my opinion.

I'll add my opinion in fns barely does any damage and people will just water them
