yeah neither bow or melee is better it just depends on how you play, but people are always gonna argue about it and say one is better when it doesnt fucking matter

Melee: Aim, movement before engaging, strafing, CPS (which is what I'm lacking which is why I suck at melee)Bow: Accuracy, prediction, reaction timing, knowing when to strafe or stand-still, knowing how to counter your opponent's strafe/aim
Reaction timing is a big thing that humans can't improve very easily, it's how you naturally are. It's hard to dodge arrows from 50 blocks away for someone with a slower reaction time, but it's easier to dodge arrows from 15 blocks away for someone with a faster reaction time. Bow is much more complicated than melee in my opinion, but I can't seem to master it at all. Bottom line, there are way more people who are amazing at sword than there are people who are amazing at bow. Correct me if I'm wrong

Melee : Timing (rod) strafing , fast hand movements for hotkeysBowing : Long range (reactions and timing) . Medium Range (Strafing and some reactions) . Short range (Strafing and Quick shots)
Bowing is alot harder than sword , u can see bye the ladders
There are 615 people who are 2k+ in Build
In UHC there are 33 people who are 2k+

WELL maybe because build is the most played ladder and UHC isnt played a lot???????
But at the end both require skill but I prefer melee cuz Im shit at bow : D

Both require skill, the amounts of which is irrelevant. No-ones opinion will be changed by a post like this, it just leads to people bitching and falling out over which one is better. My preference is bow but i know how difficult/tactical melee can be too so i'm just happy to call it equal.

A lot of people are wrong about melee, firstly strafing in no speed fights is very very hard, and with badlion's knockback it's impossible unless if your enemy is extremely terriblemelee requires a decent aim and knowledge about knockback, timing your blockhits ect, on badlion it's about who can time their crits better .. so it almost takes no skill imo
as for bows i think it takes more skill than swords especially that there are no cheats for it, i personally suck at it!

Almost everyone on the leaderbords give their accounts to be boosted in ladders they don't play, there is nothing wrong with that so get off my D

Im not ripping on bows JUST because im shit with a bow, its also because many of the badlion ladders (about 90%) contain a bow, and with ELO thirsty players everywhere people will not let you melee and just bow you back, draining your health, EVEN IN POTION. I can just about deal with bowspammers in build, because there is the option of walling up and forcing melee, not to mention bows really dont do too much damage in this ladder. ive won about 70% of my Build fights from pregapping and melee rushing, I mean bows arent everything, so to the bowspammers out there, just try this for one match, chug a gapple at the start and blockhit spam the fuck out of your opponent, hopefully when you find it works I will have converted another confused bowspammer to the melee rush religion.#BowsAreTheRootOfAllEvil
