I just think there are too many ways this can go wrong -1Posted on 11 November 2015 - 04:31 AM
I think this is a good idea but there must be like a pop up in chat that the players name has been automuted, otherwise innocent people will just get muted for a reason that they were unaware ofPosted on 11 November 2015 - 09:40 AM
Maybe instead of muting, any messages with their name doesn't get sent, so then it can't really be abused assuming they can only do it to their name.Posted on 11 November 2015 - 01:59 PM
Why auto mute?My thoughts about this are:
Famous players can disable that their name are getting spammed in chat, and if they enable the anti-name say thing, it will say: You don't have permisions to say this in global!

How so? If you mean add more than just their name to automute, then yes it would get abused. However that can be solved by if they typed /automuteme or something, it ran "/automute add " + sender.getName() in console

The requirements are far too low, for YouTube and for Famous. 2k subs for the YouTube rank on a server that gets around 5k people on during peak times of the day is very small.
