I'm not sure where you were a year ago, but there were definitely cheaters a year ago. A year ago, I was an ArenaPVP moderator. Most of my bans were from this time, as I rarely ban as an Administrator when compared to when I was a moderator.
I have 3,100 total bans.
PvP has advanced since that time, but so has cheating. I'm not sure if the person you're talking about above was cheating or not, but I find that it's often impossible to convince a headstrong player that another player wasn't cheating. Most of our moderators work diligently to fulfill their obligations, and many are assiduous in regards to their efforts. If you think you can make a difference, feel free to apply as a moderator or host.

2. The NA lag. Every NA player knows that Arena has been getting lag spikes causing people to complain on the forums and in game. This is something everyone is bothered by in NA. Because of this has caused top elos to lose because the server lagged and they lost to a 1600. Like this is annoying from a players standpoint, I'm hoping after someone reads this it can be looked further into.
MasterGberry had an MTR running for over two days (48h) that showed absolutely no signs of packet loss. If you can further describe the lag in a way that might help us, that would be great.
