Before you read this, understand that I don't mean to insult the server, just give constructive criticism. I really think that Badlion has changed too much over the past years. It has come to the point where it isn't fun for many players, for many different reasons, and I think that they need to get their priorities straight. Badlion was known for their UHC's and their reliable 1v1 server where the community was respectful, and most of all, it was LAGLESS. Pbviously, the owners are working on a fix however 4k+ people still play on unbearable lag day in day out, and complain in the chat and make the server inevitably more toxic, and the lag is still being put of to work on things such as "Skywars". The lag although cleared for a day or so now (EU) comes back now and then, and we know as a community that it will probably come back. This is not the badlion's fault but with a faulty host you start to wonder why badlion is still on OVH. One main thing that I dislike a lot is that Badlion strut their authority in a way that is disrespectful to the players. They constantly post about "Stripping ranks" "Banning and muting Famous players" etc which is a bit much seeing as these players with special ranks have boomed their server immensely and Badlion owe a lot to them, but are making a bad name for themselves and the youtuber / streamer. Another thing is Moderators. If anything, the moderators need a bit more training to become a moderator, because most aren't as good as the community would like them to be. It is a lot of pressure we understand that, but after telling the mod to spec because of a hacker and him telling me to stop spamming him(Real story), is just not good enough.Although I have more to say, I think I've put my point across. Badlion just isn't the same. I think its time to start pulling everthing together Archy and Gberry.
I love this server just to reiterate, and the server is still my favourite. But it could do with some more solid structure to it :)

do you think they aren't trying to fix the lag issues?also, half of those "famous" players are people who got all of their fame from badlion, so badlion owes them nothing/

Being here for a long time, watching the literal autism flow into badlion when UHC mainly took over, I can't blame Archy and GBerry for not being "respectful to the players" as 90% of the people I see on the server when I join now are so stupid when it comes to certain things.Posted on 14 November 2015 - 07:59 PM
There is no special button to take lag away, developers work their ass off everyday to try and fix it.Special ranks are given to players who promote the server, they're given to them as a "Thank you", and they don't have to pay anything for them. However that does not mean they're over the rules, they can get banned and muted too if they don't follow the rules.
You're not the only one with a problem, there's other 750 players online most of the time and moderators have to pay attention to them too, most likely he was busy with someone else.

I laughed at the stupidity in this thread.1. Gberry and Archy are incredibly angry at ovh for not fixing their lag and problems. They're trying to find a solution, in fact looking for a new host possibly.
2. Famous players are advertising the server. The owners don't have to give them the Rank. They're giving it to them to say thank you. It's a privilege not a right. They haven't paid for this Rank. If they abuse it, they can get it stripped simple.
3. Moderators have lives, can confirm. Try moderating a UHC with 200+ players or an Arena Server with a consistent 750 players. Moderators can't be on 24/7. Therefore, making it so there are less mods on, but when they are on they work their arses off. They can't deal with 750 players at 1 time.
You're just totally ignorant and don't thoroughly look at both sides of the argument. Good day to you sir.

People have the "right" to restrict what a guest can do on private property. Guess what? A server is private property. Your idealist values don't hold in this instance.

If we restrict people's right to share their opinion if we disagree with it that's the day we truly know this server has gone to hell. So skillaura, please don't make stupid fucking comments like that.
