Hey Everyone,I play on 1.7.10 forge with optifine, Batty's Coordinates Plus, and armor status mod. I'm on a MacBook Pro Retina on OS X with 16 GB ram, i7 processor and iris pro graphics.
Normally, I run Minecraft at 200+ frames, but when I draw back an enchanted bow on my Forge profile (even if Optifine is the only mod), my frames drop, sometimes below 60 FPS.
I've seen fixes for similar issues on 1.6, but not 1.7. I don't think its the texture pack, as it happens with default and "no glow" texture packs as well as others.
Any help is appreciated, thanks for reading!

I've had this before, but not on Badlion. One day, it seemed to go away. I have no real fix for it unfortunately.Posted on 17 November 2015 - 03:36 PM
could be the enchant glint on your packPosted on 17 November 2015 - 03:43 PM

It is not the enchant glint on the pack, I am almost certain as it happens with all packs, including "no glint" packs and default.Posted on 17 November 2015 - 09:30 PM
For me, it happens whenever I use 1.7.10 toggle sneak, and also happens with certain texture packs, which is why I use a low fire default edit with highlighted ores. Hopefully that should help fix it.Posted on 17 November 2015 - 11:13 PM
Interesting, but I don't use toggle sneak, and I am quite sure it's not about texture pack. Thanks for the tip though!Posted on 17 November 2015 - 11:15 PM

Can you elaborate? Sounds like you have the same 1.7 enchanted bow lag, or just overall better performance on 1.8?

Did you change packs when your frames stopped dropping? It Is most likely the resolution of the bow/the enchanted glint which is making your frames drop.Posted on 18 November 2015 - 10:30 AM

No, it happens with any resource pack, including default.

I use 1.8 for multiple reason, but for some reason the enchant lags my frames and on 1.8 not as much at all

Are you also on MAC? Hopefully we can find a fix.

Please don't forget about this thread! We still haven't found a solution, and it seems like quite a few people are effected by this issue!Posted on 21 November 2015 - 12:27 PM
Try to delete .minecraft and reinstall your packsWARNING: Deleting .minecraft will result in losing all of your screenshots, settings, data etc.
