This is a suggestion to replace the long requested alternative ladder, which really turned out to be poopy. I will try to build the perfect vanilla ladder, which will satisfy those upset with poison 2 spammers, kangaroos and campers.Rules:
No bows at all
max enderpearl count is 16
knockback is disabled
sharpness and unbreaking is a non-random enchant, meaning all hits will do the same damage to the players hearts and armor
crits are disabled
all debuffs must be in the extended form
only drinkable buffs allowed (prevent rushing? opinions?)
no regeneration 2 (is eliminated if above is implemented)
I'll take more suggestions, but I feel if enough people like this it should really be worked into the next season ;D

Unbreaking/Sharpness not random <- already have a flag for this, just never used
Crit bonus damage disabled <- already have a flag for this too
Block hit damage reduction disabled or just disabling blocking
No Bows
No KB
If I disable crits, I'm also disabling block hitting

Just disable blockhitting, not blocking, because a lot of people block their swords to avoid additional pearl/fall damage
