It's pretty easy to get 1700, 1800, 1900, and in some ladders 2k is pretty easy. I wouldn't say anyone above 1700 is "very good"

1800 is very difficult for 95% of people

> 1000: Doesn't know how to swing a sword or how to move

1000-1100: Knows a bit more about how to move but can't swing a sword

1100-1200: Slowly learning how to swing a sword, can't aim at all, still not 100% on movements

1200-1300: The classic badlion noob, knows how to swing a sword/strafe but aim is terrible, knows nothing of secondaries

1300-1400: A "bad" player, can kill a few people and is slightly improved with secondaries

1400-1500: An iffy player, has around the same amount of kills as deaths

1500-1600: A decent player, knows how to use secondaries pretty well and has decent aim

1600-1700: A good player

1700-1800: A very good player

1800-1900: An extremely good player

Everyone below this line is especially prone to ghost clients/cheats

1900-2000: Mastered all secondaries and has very good aim

2000-2100: Pretty much one of the best in the game

2100-2200: Incredibly difficult rating to achieve, insanely good

But more specifically for the only ladder I play:
<1100: Never played against admittedly
1100-1299: Awful aim, mostly poor dodging and little strafing
1300-1395: Pretty bad all around, but occasionally found with god tier strafing or dodging
1396-1399: Don't be fooled, these are good players in disguise who've lost to 1925+ players
1400: Wildcard
1401-1499: Very predictable strafe (generally one direction or left right), bad aiming
1500-1599: Same strafe as 1400s, only slightly better aiming or more grinding
1600-1699: The robot strafe and aim range
1700-1753: Play a bit more
1754: everyone who has this sucks
1755-1849: Being to know what they're doing: more aggressive, alternate tactics may come into play
1850-1949: Start seeing alternate tactics more often, far better aiming and possible dodging
1950-1999: Doing something wrong that's holding them back from 2k
2000-2049: Low "good" players – able to maintain a decent rating by demonstrating ability with inpredictability
2050-2100: Established players who can play the Elo game well
2100-2174: The best of the best for robot players, and a stepping stone for non-robot players; they're able to grind better, able to utilize unconventional tactics, have extremely good game sense and/or are starting to specialize in one area of archery – overall, they show expertise in being unpredictable
2175-2225: Add a bit more patience and less throwing
2226-2300: In their own league; these players don't lose unless they gain an early disadvantage – almost all of these players will be specialised in some area, be it aiming, dodging, strafing or something else

Okay, it depends on different ladders. BuildUHC is a very, very easy ladder to climb, as long as you know the basics. Other ladders that arent played much such as vanilla have low ELO boundaries, I am 1800 in vanilla. Just over 1 month ago I was in the top 20. It varies. I will post an ELO grading system for BuildUHC.

1000-1100
You have terrible aim and hardly ever win
1100-1200
As above, but you might manage to get a couple of hits in before you die.
1200-1300
You at least try with secondaries and might manage to lava trap some 1500s.
1300-1400
They may just be starting off, but if you are constantly at this ELO you are not the most skilled player
1400-1500
Below average
1500-1600
You can land a few rods and have decent aim, but still not amazingly skilled. If you ever played mineplex people would call you out a lot.
1600-1700
You probably use all secondaries by now and are OK, but people at this level are notorious for ghostkilling//lava trapping high ELO players without hesitation
1700-1800
You have relatively good rod aim and melee, this is sort of the maximum ELO you can reach by just bowing.
1800-1900 THIS IS WHAT I CONSIDER TO BE AVERAGE FOR THIS LADDER. You have good melee and at least decent archery, you occasionally kill the odd 2k+
1900-2000 By now you know that you earn fuck all for ELO when fighting at this level, you can easily kill people that are below 1700, you are good at using lava, you can rod after every melee hit, but this is where people fuck up. I know 1950s that were drained to 1700, so you need to be careful here.
2000-2100
You are slightly good in general, however 2k+ players have a tendancy to lose to 1600-1700 players, and that lowers the skill level THERE ARE A LOT OF 2K PLAYERS IN BUILDUHC. THIS IS WHY IM GIVING IT A LOWER RATING.
2100-2200
you are a very skilled player, you hardly ever lose and if you want a team in a UHC you get about 20 invites, at this stage I think it is personally best to stop playing ranked to protect your ELO.
2200-2300
You are pretty much untouchable, you ten heart 1900s all the time.
2300-2400
Stupidly high ELO, you should donate some to children in Africa.
2400-2500

This is how I view people in UHC

1400 : dosnt know what a bow is or they dont know how to use one
1500 : Knows the typical left right strafe (bow)
1600 : knows how to bow and will use sword if they are getting out-bowed
1700 : mainly Really Good at one bow range (Shrt,Med,Long)
1800 : Knows the ins and outs of bowing and are mainly good at all ranges
1900 : Will have brilliant aim or strafing
2000 : 1900 but miles better
2100 : Good at all ranges but mainly God at 1 or 2 of em
2200 : God tier Stafing and Aim
2300 : basically 2200 but a bit better or the same
2400 : DEMON
