Nether OP is a GameMode where in the nether a player can require OP items, which can help them in their game.OP is defined as godly items or useful ones. If You'd Like to see this GameMode explained in video detail
As an example, killing:
- Pigman: Drops 5 Gold/ ???? Upon Death
- Skeleton (BOW): Infinty Bow (9%) / Punch Bow (9%) / Flame 1 (9%) / Power 1 (60%) / Power 2 (4%) / Power 3(4%)/ Power 4(2%) / Unbreaking 1 (3%) Upon Death (%Chance of Drop)
- Magma Cubes: Splash Weakness 1:30 (10%) / Splash Harming 1 (10%) / ????
- Ghast: Drops Gold Block (50%) / ???? Upon Death
- Wither Skeletons (SWORD) : Sharp 1 (40%) / Sharp 2 (10%)/ Sharp 3 (6%)/ Sharp 4 (3%) / Sharp 5 (1%)/ Fire Aspect 1 (10%)/ Fire Aspect 2 (5%)/ Knockback 1 (10%) / Knockback (5%)/ Unbreaking 2 (10%) Upon Death (%Chance of Drop)
- Pigman Chicken Jockeys: Speed 1 3:00 (40%) / Speed 1 8:00 (20%) / Speed 2 1:30 (15%) / Invisibility 3:00 (10%) / Invisibility 8:00 (5%)/ Healing (5%) / Healing 2 (2.5%) / Normal Drop (2.5%) Upon Death (%Chance of Drop)
This is only just a thought and wondered if anybody would be interested. This would make for more Nether PvP and more Interesting Tactics.
Mobs Explained:
- Pigman Drops Gold because of what it originally did dropping a Golden Nugget, but because of the title "Nether OP", then it seemed fitting to up the "OP"ness'.
- Skeleton drops "OP" bow's, because it's in the nether and its drops are "UP". It would be interesting if this could be coded into for the chance of dropping certain types of bows.
- Magma Cubes I wasn't so sure, but I suggested, due to their slowness, they could drop these potions (Splash), to use in close range PVP.
- Ghast, I again wasn't so sure, but due to their rareness next to other mobs and unlikelihood of dropping the GOLD BLOCK in foreseeable land, then it seemed appropriate and again if a player did manage to obtain a Gold Block, this would be due to the concept that the "Nether" is "OP" in this game-mode.
- Wither Skeletons have swords, and like the skeleton I thought it would be appropriate for their drop to be an "OP" sword of some kind, with similar percentages of drop rates much like the BOW rate drop.
- Pigman Chicken Jockeys are considerably rare, but do exist in the nether, due to their speed and small hit boxes I thought it would make sense that their "OP" drop would be potions of speed and invisibility, health was placed there because they are rare and are unlikely to give a player an unfair advantage in the fight, because the Nether is there for everyone and the Pigman Chicken Jockeys are rare. Health was because there are two mobs on top of each other so their health is doubled and because "Nether" is "OP", drops a Health Pot.
[NOTE]
I've left "?" around some of the options; I wasn't so sure as to what and why some other items could fit in, and would make some sense as "OP" drops in the "OP Nether" GameMode.
Again this is just a thought pulled together by some new ideas to see what I could come up with. I do not think this is a great idea, but I don't think it's a bad one, all I believe is that is new and some people like "new".

+1 For anybody that thinks this is "too" op, everyone will be in the nether. The low chance of getting something really good - and getting away with it - is what makes this a good scenario.Posted on 03 December 2015 - 08:37 PM
+1, Thanks for all of the effort towards this post. Glad to know people are still coming up with really creative ideas.Posted on 04 December 2015 - 11:58 AM
