My friends got really upset with me when I told them that I would prefer not to do MCSG in our parties anymore. They got upset with me and told me I hated MCSG for no reason.

I had many reasons and here they are:

1. Skill is extremely inconsistent as one lucky combo and the game is over.

It's really funny that people think 10 seconds of fighting decides who's the better PvPer. With so many outside factors affecting the game (*ahem* ping) it's really silly to declare who's the better PvPer. To take something like this competetively…

2. BUild UHCers so everything MCSGers do better.

In Build UHC you have to learn how to play with with your blocks, buckets, secondaries, and also know how to conserve your gapples. You can either build a defensive structure using your blocks and utilize your bow, or go in for the meele with your buckets, rod, and sword aiding you.

In MCSG everything is watered down. All you have is a bow with 8 arrows an FNS with 2 charges, a rod, and a gapple. This extremely low amount of resources dosen't teach players how to manage but instead, encourages people rod spammig until their opponent's armor breaks (literally), and also encourages engaging into a meele, and running for 1 minute to regen your hearts back.

The opponent can hardly do anything about this as the maps are so large.

3. In actual MCSG, whoever memorizes the best chest routes wins.

Meanwhile in an actual UHC everythning of your knowledge of Minecraft is tested as you start from scratch and have to face the challenge of 500+ players and having no regeneration.

Some might say going mining is just as luck based as chest routes. No, learning how to locate caves and chasms and becoming a better miner is something that requires practice.

Chest routes are just memory…

4. MCSG Clans

Ok let's talk about MCSG Clans.

We have a group of 6 people who clog into just one game and then proceed to have them 6v1 anyone in their path.

Wow that's totally fair.

mcsg = dead. this game is probs gonna die within a year or so but whatever

Your reason number one is the reason MCSG is bad for ranked, I had a lag spike for around 3 second but it allowed him to get some extra hits, so the low elo player killed me with like 6 hearts
