I think it would be more benificial if you moved some of the EU game servers to the Netherlands or Belgium. Belgium is in the center of Europe (it was a buffer state in World War 2) and that's why the EU HQs are there (center of Europe), so why would you not host game servers there (or in the Netherlands of course), now the good ping is only benificial for countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy and France and not for East, middle & Northern Europe. If you would have servers in Belgium you Scandinavian people would also have a good ping and German people too… Please make at least one of the EU servers in Belgium/Netherlands.Posted on 05 December 2015 - 11:59 AM
Servers at France's northern border makes little to none difference in ping if you moved them to Belgium.And as I earlier stated: "Not very smart locations. Those only give good ping to the West of Europe. (And the Atlantic Ocean, but who lives there?) It should be in East Germany, South of Sweden or Czech Republic. (These locations would provide most people more fair connection, except the people near the servers..)

I still see a lot of "pingers" which provides them an unfair advantage against me, even though they are not cheating. On a server where I get 20ms ping, I noticed that it is ALOT easier to be "good".
Sadly, Minecraft PvP is mostly ping based.

If you changed the servers to Belgium or the Netherlands, people of France, Germany, Scandinavia would all get under 50 ms ping. I think people in Scandinavia get like 70 ping now but I'm not surePosted on 05 December 2015 - 12:48 PM

Minecraft PvP is 90% skill based imo. As long as you don't have 150+ ms you should be fine.
