Reminder: signups close on the 16th! Not the night before the tournament. Also, this event will likely end before the UHC Champions game, odds are you can safely join and expect to play in both if you so wish.

I am happy to announce that the Badlion Tournament Staff team is hosting another tournament!

Note: this tournament is a bit different than our other ones. This tournament will have a group stage and then a final, top bracket. This is much more organized, faster, and is just overall much better for everyone. I hope it goes well!

Date and Time:

The tournament will be hosted on December 19th, 2015 at 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PST (A more detailed schedule will be released along with groups on the 17th).

Signups will be closed at 11:59 PM EST / 8:59 PM PST on December 16th.

You may use this website to convert the Tournament time to your time.

The time that the tournament will last can vary, and is dependent on how much staff we have available and how many contestants sign up. Make sure you can be available for a decent amount of hours (3-4 maximum usually).

Server:

We will be using the Tournament server hosted in North America.

Overview:

This tournament will be BuildUHC kit and 1v1.

Rules:

All Badlion Network rules apply during tournament play.

The following offenses may warrant a ban from all Badlion Network servers without warning and will be harsher than those usually given out:

Usage of any unauthorized client modifications/hacked clients
Usage of any sort of external device that gives the player an unfair advantage over other players
Threatening, harassing, or bullying other players
Exploiting game-breaking plugin issues/abusing bugs
Failure to follow directions given by Tournament Staff
Any action that causes a disruption to the event

Players who break these rules may also be subject to a permanent black list, or disqualification from all future events.

In addition to actions mentioned above, the following may result in a disqualification from the event:

Failure to show up to event on time
Excessive camping – You will receive 1 (one) warning if you camp and failure to stop camping will result in a tournament disqualification, this is determined by the staff watching, use common sense
Lagging to an extent that is unplayable may result in removal from the tournament

Rematches will be granted at the discretion of Tournament Advisers or Admins in only certain situations. Do not ask for a rematch.

Signing Up:

We will accept everyone who enters. Our only limit is the server's player limit.

To sign up for the tournament, please post your name below. If you post your name and are unable to attend, you may edit out your post by the time the sign ups close as specified in the following section.

Bracket:

We will be seeding players by their BuildUHC kit Elo. If two players tie in BuildUHC Elo, MCSG Elo will be used to decide the tie. If they tie in MCSG Elo as well, UHC Elo will be used to decide that tie. If that ends up tying, Global Elo will be used to decide that tie. If they happen to tie through all four layers, whoever has played more BuildUHC matches will be placed above the other. Tie breakers only help with a few scenarios and usually don't go that deep.

From the looks of it, we will be using Elo from season 10.

The bracket will be posted here on either the 17th or the 18th. Keep a look out for what group you will be placed in!

Maps:

All maps may be played during the tournament. There is a possibility that we will allow players to restart for a new map as long as it is at the very start of the match and both players agree. It is more likely that we will do this later in the bracket, it is less likely to happen earlier on.

Prizes:

1st - 1 Permanent Lion rank
2nd - 1 Permanent Donator+ rank
3rd - 1 Permanent Donator rank

Note: You may apply the prize to any account of your choice. You may also upgrade one tier of rank if you already have it ie: if you win Donator and you already have it, you may elect to get Donator+ instead.
