@Nicosby you are the most retarded cunt on this thread. How is the infinite fishing rod a glitch? It is exploiting the mechanics of the fishing rod, not a GLITCH. Just by deciphering what you are saying I can tell that you are most likely shit at pvp, sadly I can't check your stats because you haven't played since season 11 began which is quite ironic considering you are strongly favoring the changes made this season. If you think rodding is a way to get "CHEAP HITS" you are retarded. Clicking and strafing in the majority of the kits takes very little skill, and utilizing the knockback of the fishing rod in order to initiate combos and keep them away takes skill, it's not our fault you can't fucking hit a rod let alone use the infinite fishing rod tactic. Don't get me wrong, I don't rely on this strategy, as you can tell I have quite decent statistics (I only play MCSG and I accidentally clicked on NoDebuff a few times). www.badlion.net/profile/user/rkt but last season I had like a 10 KD in MCSG because the skill gap was so much bigger. Using the infinite fishing rod to keep people away when they get an absolute bull fucking shit combo on this fucked up hit detection season 11 actually takes skill, it's sad to see that Badlion is slowly removing all skill from the server.Posted on 14 December 2015 - 12:59 PM

First of, chill and be nice. I've never told you or anyone else to stop rodding etc. I just said what I think about it and why this new change is actually a good thing. And yes, I think it is some sort of a vanilla glitch or bug, your rod IS SUPPOSED TO LOSE DURABILITY when used, and you are just using this trick to bypass it.
Accept other's opinions, you're noone to judge me and my opinions OVER A BLOCK GAME. That was really immature of you, could have just said you didn't agree, but NOPE, you totally needed to call me "retarded cunt", you totally needed to point out how good or bad I am at PvP (I haven't played yet due to problems with my ISP), and you totally needed to tell me and all the forum users your KDR in a stupid and useless attempt to show me rodding is a good thing. I dont know if the hit detencion is actually broken or not, I still don't see the need to use the rod in PvP IN GENERAL.
But hey, that's just some random noob's opinion, right? You're way better than me, right? That's what it really matters in Minecraft! You are totally allowed to be a dick for no reason just because you're so good at rodding! I'm happy people like you exists, you kinda showed you're most likely screwed without your cheap tool.
That was really pathetic and I'm actually sorry for whoever wanted to keep discussing about this in a PEACEFUL WAY. Thank you!

You realize the fench glitch is still part of the game but we removed it on Badlion. No one bitched about that glitch, even though it's advantage is a lot less then when you abuse this glitch. You just like this glitch because you used it.If you need to HIT, not swing, but HIT someone in a limited health ladder more then 64 times, you don't deserve to win.
Global Rule 5 - Exploiting a bug in native minecraft or a plugin will result in a punishment.
Rods won't even matter in 1.9 anyway since in the current snapshots rods can't hit players.

I'm pretty sure that rod kb is a bukkit feature

^ ^I don't think 70-90% of Pvpers on Badlion will switch to 1.9 though. ;)Pvp without a rod is just be a stupid, "Hey lets see who can jitter click fatser!" battle half the time. But using the rod is a legitimate skill, it's really hard to learn when to use it and exactly where to aim it. Used correctly, it can get you some nice combos. Used incorrectly, and you're just going to die faster. I love the rod. Even though I still suck with it.
That being said, it makes sense for a rod to take damage. If a tool hits an entity or breaks a block it should take damage. It's as simple as that.

Hhm. I don't think it is just about CPS when it comes to meele. You actually need good aim, a good strafe, control over your opponent's knockback (sprint-reset) and consistence. The rod just helps out. I'd rather get good combos with my own aim and hits, instead of getting them with the rod.
Thanks for having a nice and peaceful opinion, I appreciate it ^^

Are you saying this because you're butthurt that you can't rod? Anyways atleast make it 128 or something or add an extra rod. 64 is way too little for something like build uhc. Listeo to the comments please when they say the build should be more and mcsg should be less.Posted on 15 December 2015 - 01:56 AM

No? I don't really care if I can rod or not, I'll never use it anyways lol. It's not like I tried it, failed and got mad. No. I've never liked it, never felt the need to try it, never thought it might be useful for me in pvp. That's it ^^. No need to call me a butthurt over a game :/

you cant strafe if your opponent gets the first ping hit, straightline jitter m7
dont take out rod
Well you have a good point, but it's not like you're 100% fucked. Remeber, the bow is a thing(you can use it to push him away),blocking reduces knockback, or you could just run.
You can do something if your opponent is comboing you unless you got 200+ ping.

I know how to use a rod and abuse this glitch very well, but I am glad to see it removed.Have there been any other arguments..?
