I have a suggestion for a new gamemode for UHC's - Ores + Diamond Ore, Iron Ore, Coal Ore, Lapis Ore, Redstone Ore, Gold Ore and Emerald Ore are all increased. I think this could potentially be a really successful mode as it would be somewhat like a OP UHC situation. I also think it could be a confident booster to some players that can never find particular ores.
