I just got inspired by Cratain's thread a few minutes ago to go ahead and figure out a few ladders. Here goes:
Kohi Ladder: Since the Kohi kit changes differently to the Shotbow HCF kit, you may as well have a Kohi ladder. The only problem I see would be if the two ladders intersect again; that would be rather annoying.
Sword Ladder: Dumb name, but, hell, since there's a three-hit bow ladder, why not a three-hit sword ladder? I'd give the swords Knockback 2 or more, too, but a problem I see is it'd be really ping based and a lot less skill based. Maybe you can work around that somehow? Who knows?
Knight Ladder: Horse pvp! :)
Tamer Ladder: Spawn with a fuckload of aggressive mob eggs (Skeleton, Zombie, Creeper, w/e) I think this'd be a lot like the Meat Slapper ladder, for those who remember, but hell, it'd be funny.

Edit: Also, since the Kohi and Shotbow kits change so frequently, maybe have the favorites saved into a few different ladders. For example, I really loved the Map 10 Kohi HCF kit. That was the one with Drinkable Health II Potions and Splash Health I Potions. It also had a non-flame sword, but it had a flame bow.

kohi ladder - not the worst idea, although we are competing servers.
Sword ladder - no, so many people would complain about how ping based it is.
Knight ladder - this would actually be a lot of fun, but we would need to make the horses have more health/not able to die.
Tamer ladder - I'm not really understanding what you mean, but from what I think it is, it seems like a mob arena with pvp enabled.

You're also competing with OCN, MCSG, Shotbow HCF, Mineage, Reddit UHCs, and Shotbow MineZ. (although to a lesser extent)

I agree completely, but maybe there'd be some way to work around that. Don't ask me; I don't know shit about it, but it may be possible.

This sounds perfect

Basically each player spawns with (for example) 2 Skeleton Eggs, 10 Creeper Eggs, and 3 Zombie Eggs, and those mobs would then be pitted against each other and the player. PvP would be disabled. (or maybe not, depending on how it'd be balanced out.

Doesn't seem like it would be a very interesting ladder, but hey, if people want it, add it.
