TDM Problems

So a new gamemode was released called "TDM" as many of you know. This gamemode has its pros and its cons just like every other game. The thing is…this one is broken. This gamemode seems like it was made in 5 minutes just to get a new gamemode out. So I am going to list a few of the pros and consPROS
Fun!-This game can be played for hours! It has enough players to make the game fun and although at times the game can be buggy and broken it can still provide many people with a fun time
Teams-Badlion doesn't have many team focused games and having a new one is nice
PVP- To engage in a large war is really fun! I love being able to fight one person after another with other battles going on around me! Then the times where you get a 1 heart clutch can be SOO satisfying!
Cons
Map- There is only ONE map and it isn't very good(in my opinion.) Sure it is fun for the first round or two but it gets REALLY repetitive
Killstealing- This game has SOOO much killstealing. I have gotten people down to one hit and then some noob comes and takes the kill and gets rewarded by a gapple and it is displayed in chat. There needs to be a way to show whoever did the most damage gets their name displayed in chat.
Not Finished/Buggy- Like I said above, this gamemode feels rushed and just like it is there… They should have put more time and effort in making the game and not the map. I went on a 10 killstreak on one game and then the following game it carried over and then I got another 5 killsteak making it a 15 killstreak and it showed in chat so I know it is not a client side bug.
Lag/Hit Detection- I can have 40ms and my hits not register which is mainly part of the lag the Badlion server has. This really needs to be looked into and fixed.
Kits- The sg really needs to be slightly buffed. The FnS only having 2 charges needs to change(at least 4.) The TDM kit is just boring. I don't have much fun playing with it but that is just a personal opinion. The other kits are sort of fun but there needs to be more.
Arrows- You should NOT be able to pick up arrows! You can try to engage in a sword fight but you will just end up getting bow spammed OVER and OVER and OVER again. This can be helped if you were to remove the ability to pick up arrows.
This is really only a few problems that this gamemode has but if these get fixed it could turn out to be a really fun gamemode!

I think that badlion should implement voting for new maps in TDM later on in the future like what they do with kits in TDM, once they release or are planning on releasing new maps :P. Anyway killstealing is apart of the game, plus i like how they have it so you can pick up arrows and fire back? Idk dude maybe just my opinion?Posted on 14 December 2015 - 07:08 PM
I will go over your cons.Map- Yeah theres only one map right now. We plan on having a lot more maps in the future.
Killstealing- It's part of TDM. That's just how the gamemode works. It's a team gamemode which means that you will get kill stolen every now and then, that's just how it work and it won't be changed.
Not Finished/Buggy- We are aware of this bug and it will be fixed ASAP. Our devs are working hard on making the TDM gamemode bug free. It's a new gamemode and bugs are to be expected.
Lag/Hit Detection- Nothing to do with TDM.
Kits- We are going to give a kill reward soon for FNS in SG kit. I like the TDM kit, Idk what you find boring about it? It's a generic TDM kit and it needs to be there.
We're always up for suggestions for kits for TDM. Keep in mind kits like BuildUHC/gapple/kohi, ect will not be accepted considering it's almost imposible to die in a TDM setting.
Arrows- this is an intended feature and won't be changed. Bows are a part of the game.

Killstealing-I just don't like the fact that some random can come out of nowhere and just get rewarded for the kill. I still say there should be a way that the person who does the most damage gets rewarded more than the random.Kits-The TDM kit is just a personal opinion and I just feel like it could use a bit of "spice" to it. The FnS for the SG kit does sound nice and I like that idea.
Not Finished/Buggy- That is one of the main reasons I made this post, the game is just not finished and it doesn't seem out of beta.
Lag/Hit Detection-I mentioned it was a Badlion problem and I just thought I SHOULD mention it because it seems worse on TDM.
Arrows-That along with the TDM kit was a personal opinion.

It's a fairly new gamemode and the majority of the points in which you have stated are expected to occur at the slightest.However, I'm glad your suggestions have been taken into consideration and I'm also glad that your posts aren't one of those spam, non-detailed randy suggestions.
