Before I join or spectate anyone, I say in chat "If you have time to Hackusate, than you have time to utilize /report."You realize our chat gets non-stop spam… Some of us get reports from other servers on the network, the Mod Chat, We try our best to help you guys with mutes and such. It pisses me off when someone messages me a player is Hacking, and I reply back with use /report.
Messaging 1 mod isn't going to do anything. We have mods all around The server, they will see the report and they will deal with it.
Some people get away with it, we understand, but we are not robots. We workhard! We do a lot of things, we a volunteers that love to help the network, which we do.
I don't usually mute someone for Hackusating, but when I do, they played has to piss me off to the max by spamming me.

Yeah well summed up DiamondCruster. We get a plethora of reports and PMs every minute. Most reports are normally false. These reports are normally the reports that have only been reported once. Therefore, I don't normally investigate these, as there are normally other reports that would be more likely to be true, as they have been reported multiple times. If I see someone reported for camping, I will go and spec them if I'm not busy with something else. It's a lot better to do /report and wait than spam me with PMs, as that makes it less and less likely that I'm going to help you and could also lead to a mute, if you continue to spam.
What you have to understand that if we aren't helping you, we are probably trying to help someone else. I can't be in 2 places at once. Using /report will make it more likely that your issue will be dealt with. Therefore, we mute you for saying 'Mod spec' for 2 main reasons:
1) To encourage you to use /report. It goes to more mods and you have more of a chance of your issue being dealt with.
2) It can also be classed as a hackusation, due to the fact that you haven't specifically said why you want us to spec. You might want us to spec because there's a hacker. We simply can't tell, we aren't mind readers, therefore we will mute you, as it it is classed as a hackusation.
Hope that clears things up a bit. If you have any questions, feel free to tag and ask me.

So what you're saying is, you're scared of getting drained by the hacker. Ok I understand that. Let me explain some things.
1) We can't ban until a ranked match is over
2) We need something called evidence and if we don't have that and they appeal then that makes us looks like bad mods and could lead to us getting demoted.
3) It's one match, get over it.
I know why to you think /report is useless, but like you say we do get several reports and it's hard to keep up. If you do /report it helps because eventually that hacker will be caught once more people report him/her. If they don't, it probably means that they weren't actually hacking. You can't just assume they beat you because they were hacking. Saying 'mod spec' in public chat does not help because if the hacker sees the msg they'll most likely turn their hacks off (if they're smart) and they won't be banned.
Also, msging mods to spec hackers is allowed now and we will look into it, if we aren't busy with something else.
As a player, all I ask you to do is to not hackusate and have some patience. If you're convinced he/she's hacking, you can always record it and report it on the forum.

@Mr_Bloxley @Cavasi you don't have time to do "/report [player]' and then click on the hacking or camping most of the time, especially when the hacker is fucking hunting you down with 10 block reach… the system is corrupt afPosted on 13 January 2016 - 04:55 AM

@MaccaTacca is right tbh. I think you should use /report instead of typing in chat. For one - Mods may not be able to see.
For two - its annoying every chat message you post could effect the latency in the server.
Last one is that in the rules -Keep hackusations to the ban report forum or by typing /report
- anything close to that will be a mute-able offense. like "mods pls spc haker" or "SPECCCC OMFG OMFG SPECCCCCCCCCCCCC"
:/

You know, I would use ./report more if the mods actually started spectating you when you do it. Before you come back and just say "But we do", can you message the person being hacked on? In the past, When I use ./report nothing happens, and when I message a host/mod, I instantly get a response of "watching". If you guys want to enforce ./report, try not to just ignore the reports.Posted on 13 January 2016 - 04:10 PM

Mods only listen to the report if multiple people report like 7, Yesterday night i fought 3 hackers all using easy to hackedclients, reported 2 because of cool down and since they all had 1400- elo i lost like 25 elo to each. Some hackers literally get on to ruin are experience and they hack against the high elos players to make them mad. Btw 1 got banned by gcheat idk about the rest.Posted on 13 January 2016 - 04:58 PM
You need to realise it is not just one or two reports. I usually check most of the camping reports, and 99% of the time I will deal with a player if he gets reported 2 or more times. There are a lot of reports every minute, and we can't always check them all. Also, most of the camping reports are false, which actually annoys me.
Now for reports in general, please please please realise we're not machines. We can't just scan every player at once, we can't check multiple people at once, we can't tell if someone is hacking or not sometimes. Your reports are usually dealt with, trust me. The problem is, it is not like we will kindly /msg you "hey I'm speccing you dw I got your back" or "Hey, don't worry, that guy isn't hacking", we tp to the player you report, spec him for a bit (WHILE GETTING MORE REPORTS FOR MORE PLAYERS) and then we either take action AFTER THE MATCH IS OVER, or we stop speccing if we can't see anything suspicious/we ask other mods to help us.
We're not dickheads who are too lazy to check reports. Being a mod here, on servers with 500+ players, with the chat being spammed with every kind of toxicity, duel requests, party invitations, or just normal conversations, is not an easy task and sometimes we actually need to chill and forget about our job.
I usually play ranked when I'm on, but I always keep an eye on the chat, and if help is needed I will help. If I don't reply/spec you/help that means I'm probably taking a break.
We need a lot of patience, most of us do a great job here and are very helpful. Some can't be that dedicated and actually need breaks. We usually ask other mods to hop on the server we're on before "relaxing", so that there's at least an active mod. Sometimes noone can really help us and we can't do much about it. That's one of the reasons we're trying to hire more Moderators.
