So I was doing some Build UHC Duels and I got to this guy who ran. He Bow Spammed and Bow Spammed and Bow Spammed. If you tried to rush him, he would just bow spam and it is annoying. He almost never melees. In fact, he would just wait in corners to bow spam people and camped on hills to do the same. Honestly, is there anything that the staff can do about this? It is annoying to always have to deal with this. I understand that it is a part of the game however, when it is used and abused with blocks especially, it becomes unfair to people that want to melee (Especially because most of the MCSG maps are not the best for FPS).Note: This is the type of guy that will wait in a corner for 15 minutes just to get one shot on you.
If we can do something to prevent bow spam, that would be great because this isn't reddit. There are rods and lava buckets for a reason.
Yes, there are 64 arrows however, melee is part of the game.
I understand that bow spamming may be necessary when you have run out of gaps but there should be some boundaries with the bow. I have seen a lot of players complain about this in chat and combined with my personal experience, came forth this post. Please do something about this, however, if this is impossible, although it is annoying, I will try to understand.

READ the post. I know however, bow just running and bowspamming when there is a rod is annoying. UHC is more than just bow. If you have full prot 4 on diamond armour, the bow is useless. I assume you are one of those bow spammers defending your side of the topic. Think before you say something dumb. It is the community that shaped UHC into a bow based game. UHC is bow based, there are different strategies however in UHC such as nether rushing(getting strenght for melee or speed for combos and avoiding arrows) and getting enchants straight away. Some players may get lucky books in mineshaft carts or spawner chests. Power 4 against prot 4 does about 0.5-1 heart each hit. Don't complain about bow spamming if you think bow is useless. Every player has a choice of bowing or melee. With limited arrows, bows cannot be used forever
Play reddit UHCs and you will complain even more, badlion UHC is melee enough already but there are ppl complaining still. If you like plain melee, play kohi or gapple and if you like rods, play mcsg or vanilla(lol)

You are kinda dumb for that last point. I said in my previous post that I use both the bow and sword. Also, I'm talking about build uhc where there is a specific boundaries for gear. I like the bow but I a talking about bow Spamming ONLY. I really do not like people like you who try to twist people's comments around and/or change the subject. Stick to the subject and only quote from me, what I said. If you can't do that, do not bother commenting. And I do not like plain melee. If I do not bow in a match and it is just melee, I get bored. It is the overuse of the bow that is kind of annoying. I have played reddit before and it is fun. There is more use of the bow however, I have not come across a full diamond player that used all of his heads and is at two hearts, that will still bows spam you from 2 blocks away. Also, sitting at the top of a mountain and bow spamming is conside,red camping. Read the badlion Rules. For example, in Huahwi's battle with xNestorio for his first UHC win, xNestorio sat at the top of a mountain and just bowed and would not come down. Huahwi respected that and played his game for a while. However, just bow got annoying so Huahwi went in for melee. Also a staff member said in chat, "Make it a fair fight xNestorio". Back to the point, seeing Huahwi melee, xNestorio respected that and meleed with Huahwi. He definitely would have won if he just shot more arrows because Huahwi had no more gaps.
