ALso, if UHC WAS all melee (GOD FORBID), How would you feel? Dude, I really love the bow and I am better at bow than at melee. However, an overuse of it is annoying do not be an idiot and actually read the post and try to understand me. I understand that a game is a game however, I suggesting something that might actually help badlion's community. Seeing as no one has attempted to explain the fundamental flaw to bow spamming, I will do so.You should acknowledge that there is a large amount of players who don't bow spam themselves and yet manage to win against them. Ask yourself one question: if this really was as overpowered as I think it is, how do decent players still win? A nerf becomes a requirement when something is inevitably flawed and cannot be countered. The bow spam tactic however, can be countered.
Remember that bow spamming means that you are repeatedly barely drawing back your bow and then shooting. To shoot a bow more than your sword isn't 'spamming', that's just called being good with a bow. If this is the way you are erroneously using the term, then you only need to see one quote (i came up with not so long ago): "He who criticizes one's greatest strength, exposes one's greatest weakness". This means that by pointing out how often you lose to players who use their bow excessively, you are showing that you are bad at either dodging arrows or contesting the opponent in a bow fight.
Nevertheless I will assume that you are using it in the correct way and, judging by the way you described the player, I believe you are. So to describe the counter shortly, it is essentially just a combination of weaving through those spammed arrows, learning to dodge, placing blocks in front of you to stop arrows, and responding with fully drawn back arrows yourself. The fact that people are solely using their bow indicates that they are bad with everything else, so take advantage of that fact and destroy them with sword-rod combos etc.
TL;DR Bow spamming is gey, but there are ways to counter it.

Ugh me too!! I just find it so disrespectful when people shoot a pixelated projectile at me repeatedly! ……..How do you suggest we deal with these impertinent fools, should we permaban them or simply execute them!1!121!1!
But seriously though, you do realise UHC is a bow based ladder right?? So in that ladder you will need to just get over it and use the bow back.
Secondly in BuildUHC, you have these things called blocks which actually stop arrows hitting you, so I suggest you play a bit more tactically and stop complaining
