Map : Shopfront (some guy called it that earlier)
Dislike: It's wide, but not very long, it's like about 30 blocks at most, sucks in archer ladder.
Improve: Make it at longer.

Made changes to Emerald Mines, Venice, Desert and Citadel. You'll see the edited maps in rotation sometime soon.

Hello! (cant screenshot cause soup ffa isn't available yet)

Map: Soup FFA

Dislike: Spawn Bridges/arena is too plain

Improve: I would recommend making it similar to the previous soup map (the one with the tree as spawn and the foresty jungle vibe) just make it more scaled down to reduce the size. Or you can try a new theme just make it more like adventurous decorated. Thanks!

Map: All except the flat ones
Dislike: hills, buildings, objects, even 1x1 blocks in the arena
Improve: 100x100 FLAT GRASS maps, copy and paste 200 of these arenas, instead of using the ones that give you bullshit results. Remove everything in the way of the arena, buildings, trees, objects, hills, 1x1 blocks, any block above ground level.

What's the point of having a build team then? Flat maps don't prove how good you are at pvp. Terrain helps show how you are able to adapt to the situation and defeat your opponent.

Not at all, my POV of pvp, is sword, armour. Not high ground low ground. People get kinky hits and really high end advantages that are so unfair and undeserved due to the block height they are on, plus sometimes when I run I run into a block which is just dumb, it should just be free of space, so you can actually fight, and of course you don't need a build team, I'd rather have 100% flat maps to fight on than these stupid dumb obstacle maps, that people could even just RUN AROUND, AND WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME, for a good 5-10 minutes, and then kill you after, so undeserved tut tut.

I have always hated this argument
In a synthetic pvp environment such as Badlion, the only thing you should be focusing on as a build team is providing an even, spread out terrain. This is how to practice and improve at pvp. Being able to adapt is second nature to somebody that has gotten pvp down in a flat area - that is simply the most difficult terrain you can give to somebody, because there are no unfair advantages they can abuse. In a real pvp situation, you won't see the same terrain over and over like you will in a synthetic environment. You can't recreate every situation that somebody might see in a real situation, and if you only include some, then you're leading somebody to ignore improving at genuine pvp skill and instead abuse the same advantage over and over again. Then in a real scenario where he doesn't have that advantage, he'll get fucked up. Please, please, please, just stop making structures and hills and tunnels and caves and shit and make flat maps. I know that it's hard to put really cool builds/ideas into flat pvp arenas, but honestly I'd bet 95% of competitive players couldn't give two shits about how a map looks (to a point, of course) if it's flat and consistently good for pvp.

Map: Slaughter map
Dislike: 2 block tall grass is unnecessary imo because you are then not hitting your opponent. It is not really a representation of a real PvP situation since the grass reappears (when you break it, of course).
Improve: Remove the grass or just change the 2 block tall grass to 1 block tall grass
