Hey everyone. We take security here at Badlion very serious. Especially within our staff team. For a couple of months now there has been a beta two factor system available to @Archybot and myself that we have been messing around with. Today we are releasing it publicly. This feature is completely optional to users but it gives your account extra security. When you are logged in on the website and you click "Welcome back XXXXXXX" you should now see a new option called "Settings"

The only setting available at the moment is the two factor system. You will see a QR-code that can be scanned via any 2 factor authentication service application. I included a few links below (I personally recommend Authy since it has the ability to back up your 2 factors in case you lose your phone)
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/authy/id494168017?mt=8
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-authenticator/id388497605?mt=8
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.authy.authy&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2&hl=en
You will then scan the QR code with the application and enter in the one time code that the application generates. If you are having issues getting the QR code to work try refreshing the page and scan a new one.
Once you have two factor enabled it will ask you to enter your code in once every 30 days per IP address on the website and on the server. If you have a dynamic IP you are going to have to enter your two factor code a lot (sorry).
To my knowledge we are the first major network to add two factor authentication to our website, and more importantly in game. When you enter the lobby server you cannot do anything until you have properly validated your two factor. This will cut down on the number of accounts being stolen and abused on Badlion. I am very happy to be releasing this to the public today. We also made some other misc security updates on our back-end and as a result every person's "remember me" option has been invalidated and everyone will have to log back into the website.
If you are not a member on the forum board community already all you need to do is use /register on any Badlion server and signup with your email.
Leave feedback below and obviously any bugs.

It's not required. Setting it up is completely optional. Anyone who knows what it is will understand this post.
