Alright, so I am top 200 global. Yet people still call me shit. Well, you may be correct, as I am abysmal in some aspects of the Badlion community, yet I am pretty good in some others.When I had my old username, ImNotAGod, people began to make jokes whenever I lost to them badly. Usually, they were light - yet rude - as saying stuff like "looks like your username is correct" kind of offends people. Then i lost more games, and people began to call me shit, and use more harsher slurs towards me. I got angry and said something I now regret, and ended up getting banned for it.
Now, it's season 11, and I'm doing decent. Not as well as I would like to be doing, but good enough. But people tend to call me shit or ez because I'm still getting used to pvping. That is because I am focused on school and wanting to do better than I would in school.

You get angry when somebody trash talks you because you're insecure and you feel the need to prove to the world that you're actually good. A good way to think of it as that they're just mad about losing and want to win by getting on your nerves. You probably know this already. It's why you're muted, too, right? Let's think of this situation in an even better way. The guy who's insulting you really wants to win, and a way to win is by angering you. They want to make you feel bad about yourself/your victory/something else and they will succeed if you care enough to rationally discuss the match/tactics/whatever else they're criticizing you one You'd think that by one-upping someone with insults is the best way to assert your victory. You're wrong, though. Not only will you be breaking the rules of you insult them back, but it's not how you properly win.
Ignoring them is a good option because that way you'll not be giving them the satisfaction that you care enough about their message to acknowledge it. But sometimes you really do feel like replying. That guy said something that really got to your head.
Instead of talking to them about why they're wrong, take a safer and calmer route. The guy messaged you, so he wouldn't mind a reply back, right? That's what he probably wants after all. So message him something, but don't message him something that can really be linked to the match you just had. You can talk about their frustration and the problem they have, but you want to be indirect and want to try to avoid talking about what happened in the match.
It's like rubbing salt in the wound if you have a conversation with them as though they were a friend. You don't want to be passive-aggressive, but just unaffected. That guy's just frustrated is all, and you're actually not giving him the satisfaction of insulting you if you talk without reacting badly to whatever they say. You don't want to provoke them either, just change topic to something unrelated to the match you just had.
But the beauty of all this is that they'll have a hard time talking to you back. You probably won't get a reply back like 50% of the time
