Auto-deny appeals shorter than x lines
It does sound like a weird idea, however, I’ve been going through a few appeals and the low amount of effort some people put in their appeals for such horrible acts (like death wishes, DDoS threats) is . In my opinion they do not even deserve an unban if they only write things like “it wont happen again” or something along these lines. They’ve probably never read Cratain’s excellent post.
So my idea is that there should be min. number of lines/letters your appeal has to include. If you believe you were falsely banned and have nothing to say – say the smallest details you can. That can also be helpful for the staff to better investigate if your ban really was false or not. Any appeals which do not meet the criteria would automatically get denied by the bot.

Once again, might sound like an odd idea, but imo rule-breakers shouldn’t have it easy to get a second (sometimes even a 3rd) chance. Have a g’day

The staff has a thread where we link all the appeals that have 0 effort or are copied and pasted. Those are denied by the seniors, and the person has to make a new one if they really feel like.

The staff team is already discussing about the implementation of a smarter website bot that could detect a minimum amount of words.
