Diamond used to be more melee-based than it is now, even before proj was put on the armor. I've lost many a diamond fight to not having enough skill at bow, which is why I began playing it in the first place.

its because you get 32 arrows -_- It doesn't matter how much damage it does, because they add up as the barrages of arrows hit you.
