If you select "Other" in /report, you should be able to to type in a chat popup specifics of what you're trying to tell the mods. There are many things /report does not cover.Last edited on 31 December 2015 - 05:08 AM by ShadyGamerX
I believe this used to exist if you typed '/report <ign> [reason]' and selected 'other'. Nowadays it doesn't work anymore. I wonder if they removed it because muted people abused it or something. If this is the case, the simple fix would be not to allow muted people to report like that :P+1

From a moderators perspective this would be irritating. There are very few reports that don't fit under anything and it just means people will spam with with nonsense like "TPPPPP" rather than anything with content. If there are a lot of violations of something where there is no report option, make a suggestion for it to be added.Posted on 31 December 2015 - 11:52 PM

Maybe have a strict penalty if you just put nonsense into the chat? i.e. first offense 1 day ban, 2nd offense 3 day ban, 3rd offense 1 week ban, 4th offense perm ban/month ban.

You need to add "Range" into the /report system… And if someone says the bullshit that Range isn't a real hack, look up "Nyts 2400 Build UHC".Posted on 01 January 2016 - 01:44 PM

+1, if they spam nonsense things mods are allowed to mute them.Posted on 01 January 2016 - 09:18 PM

You don't understand, this fills our screens with nonsense for no good reason. Mutes don't deter, more prevent more spam from occuring. There's no reason for this to happen, since 99% of the time it will just be trash.

That's why I suggested bans. People are MUCH more afraid of bans than mutes.

I think if there is a prevalent hack being used, players should suggest which hacks to add to the /report feature. I think too many players would abuse or misuse the option to type instead of "Other"
