So a lot of you may know me, I really really struggle at bowing in general, I can't do close range bowing at all everytime I keep missing, long range bowing I am 4/10 at, sometimes I get lucky and get 4-6 bow shots in a row on them, others I can't even hit the player for over 3 minutes. Can someone please teach me how to bow spam close range, long range and I need to really work on dodging the arrows whilst shooting too. Cause i move like 1 or 2 blocks after i shoot an arrow. I would really appreciate it if i got some archery classes every day from some bow god, and i wll give credit for it,-DareDevil

EDIT: not to mention I'm gonna focus on bow ladders but I don't want to mess my kdr up so I'll do it on alts. But I still really need some archer classes.

Learn to read your opponent's mind and think which way they are going to go so you can aim at the right place. People saying "Turn hitboxes on" are lying, doesn't help at all.And practise. Practise. Keep practising.

Just focus on bow-based ladders like Archer. You'll need to practice a lot though, it's not like 1 or 2 weeksare enough. I learned how to close range all by myself, it was really hard xD.Long range in very different and you actually need a really good aim. As I said before, it is really just a lot practice. I've always used the bow in pvp (been 3 years now, maybe a bit more), so I'd consider myself quite decent at it. Try to keep an eye on your opponent's arrows too, this will help you dodging them.
Mid range is like a mixture of long and short range, imo. Once you get good at both, you will most likely be good at mid too. ;)
(I'm not the best archer in the world though, there's probably people who can give you better tips)

u tag osxar even tho i can i can 7 him , btw dont listen to the people up there ^^^just do what u like to do and what u think is effective , dont change your play style just bye listening to people good with the bow
all i can say is practice and dont lose your own play style

@Daredevil bow is something you can not teach, i learnt/practised how to bow by playing UHC FFA it is really helpful and good for some un-ranked practise.Posted on 01 January 2016 - 04:00 AM
